Actin and myosin don’t contract, I d like to know how to say what causes contractions and what doesn’t ? What causes calcium ions to not attach? Or why is there issues where muscles stay contracted?

Just one question: during gastrulation, to form the 2 laters, how do the morphogens remove some of the adhesion molecules from some of the cells and not the others to form the 2 layers? Weren't all these cells exactly the same before gastrulation so they should have the same number of adhesion molecules and therefore, the same amount of these adhesion molecules would have been removed from all these cells? So how does it form 2 layers if all these cells initially had the same number of adhesion molecules? Thank you again. :)
