20 foot drop and landing on your harness will put you in a wheel chair for life. Happened to my buddy in NC.building a tree house he disconnected and slipped and fell. Be careful and dont roll the dice if you dont have to. Thanks for the video.
Every once in a while my T540xp does the same thing, very annoying. I recently switched my mix to Amsoil Sabre for all my saws and it seems to have remedied the issue for now. That T540xp also bugs me because of the location of the kill switch, I always hit it with my thumb.
That's good to know, yeah the thing is really annoying. When it wants to run it has so much power, but dealing with it stalling like that definitely bugs me.
I bought two of them with the same modifications as him the one would never run right from day one I sent it back and I bought a 201 with the money I got back from the first one the second one I still have I've used it maybe three or four hours I'm sending it back to get fixed again because it does not idle it stops it starts it shuts down it's a pain when the saw runs it is an absolute monster that problem though is so annoying I need to get it fixed so hopefully this time it's the last time
@@johnmcmahon9115 some issues as @br-dj2ti. I noticed on real hot days i can't keep the thing at idle. I honestly can't recommend it, lately I've been running a modded 2511T that a friend built. I would consider going that route, that saw is a little animal.
@johnmcmahon9115 yeah either get a modified 201 or like he said a 2511 never have no problems with those at all but the 540 I feel like breaking it off the ground half the time
11:12 damn I seen that video he got real lucky

@@BigBlackTruckDave appreciate this comment, it's exactly what I was trying to say but articulated it very poorly.

I'm considering buying a T540 with the same modifications as your saw. What was the cause of the stalling?
