The reason it worked is that they need to vote in unison, otherwise, they risk a tie and a loss. Since Toast didn't have that much suspicion on him, aside from Lily, people went with his vote to avoid the tie, because Toast always yells who to vote at the last second anyways.

Not sure if anyone‘s posted this yet, the last game was actually insane. I saw it on Rae‘s stream, she and Poki had a super clean double kill in a closed room without ANY witnesses in sight. Switch to Sydney‘s point of view outside around the corner and it‘s the worst flipping kill ever, in broad daylight right in front of a witness.
Everyone watching was just as confused as them! It took a clip of the kill from Syd’s POV to clear it up. Rae even said she wouldn‘t have defended herself if they had seen the same as her.

Toast if you play on skeld the vent in medbay can be used to catch people. If they walk out of med bay facing right they might have vented because when you leave the vent you usually face right, however doing a scan or lab test makes you face left. I NEED to see you at least try and to catch and imposter with this strat. (It is flawed but will be funny if it works)
95% of time it will not work because alot of people exit medbay facing right. A good tactic is to stay in the entrance of medbay and wait a lil bit, the imposter cannot see you while they vent, and run for the meeting when u see the imposter
You can walk out facing both directions, crewmate or imposter. It’s not a very efficient way to watch the imposters.

An explanation on how Sydney saw the double kill on the other side of a door:
The game I think makes darkness work by masking. Everything around you is always visible but are just covered by the darkness mask. The objects are covered by a darkened version of the map and whenever your vision bubble touches an object (door, rock, barrel, etc.) It is excluded from the mask. Sydney's bubble just so happens to touch the door of weapons where it unmasked Rae and Poki double killing behind of. Very unlucky.

It was actually a smart move. They sus'd out both of the impostors. By feigning rage she can make the crewmates wonder if they got the vote right, which would call the guess on the other impostor (Rae) into question, and could prevent them from voting her next, extending their chances of winning. I'm not sure if that was Poki's intention, but if it was then it was a good move.
