I totally feel if i got into the hobby scene making would be my primary focus. But same time the train part would get me lost fast.
But as for creating a re creation or a dramatic scene would be my goal.
Love that you shared a piece of yourself 🎉

I am 66 yo and have been building my first ho scale railroad...it currently is 17 feet long with 3 sections that are 6 feet, 5 feet and 8 foot wings making a letter “E” design.. I am now adding an 2 by 8 foot rail yard addition. It is the Union Pacific Cheyenne Rail yard to Green River of the 1880s. It has been. year in the making...mostly full time...to save money I have designed and built numerous card stock structures. I also have used ez track because I have a right hand that is paralyzed so track wiring is difficult. I want to make a control panel using Bachmann switches (I have 17 in my layout). I want to make two control panels at different locations (9 at the western town side and 8 in the rail yard setting). Can control panels be designed for Bachmann EZ track switches? thanks dana via Maine

Hi Dana, it sounds like you are building an awesome layout! I believe you can indeed design your your control panels for Bachmann EZ track switches. My suggestion is to keep the same brands throughout your layout. For example, if you are using Bachman track, use Bachman switches, etc. I've found that by remaining consistent in the brands used you will have few compatibility issues going forward. Good luck!

Hi Dana, I’m also trying to build the Cheyenne yard and was wondering if you found a track plan for the area of the yard and the roundhouse and shops area. I found an old aerial photo but it’s not very clear. Any track plans you may have could be helpful. Thanks.

@@derekalexander4030 hi derek, I wrote to Cheyenne WY, Union Pacific Museum and publisher of Union Pacific magazine. I purchased several issues that had photos and stories. I also watch some utube videos of a couple who visited the Cheyenne rail yard...dug deep on my google research for b and w photos of the late 1880 to 1910 era..dana via maine
