From the eds , Fosters , courage the Cowardly Dog, Pinky and the brain , animaniacs and now Dexter's laboratory complete DVD set gets the treatment! Much appreciated Warner Bros archive. Now for Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy then I can die happy lol
Yes some specials or parodies, movies are occasionally not put on the home media sets but I'm still happy with it XD better than being lost media and price gouging of the DVD vol sets
I really need to get it at some point. I am glad waner is do a bit better of a job releasing cartoon network shows on dvd . I was also glad to see ego trip, i was afraid this would be like the eds dvd set all over again.
Personally, I would love to see Chowder or Camp Lazlo next. But realistically, I think either Billy & Mandy, Kids Next Door, or Regular Show could be next.
Dan the reason why it’s advertised as 6 seasons it’s because due to season 2 having more content with 39 episodes and the tv movie Ego Trip since season 2 was originally attended as the series finale
I have a bootleg Blu-Ray set of this show. in which the episodes look like they were ripped from either Max or Prime Video. but that set does have the two banned episodes in Barbequoir and Rude Removal.
I'm still holding out hope that the Ed Edd n Eddy specials will have their release one day on a separate set release. Even if they should have been all together from day one.
Does this set include any of the original pilot "Cartoon, Cartoon" Dexter's Laboratory segments? If not, did any of them appear in the VHS or other releases?
That isn’t what he’s asking. There are two ways of displaying 4:3 content on DVD - with or without hardcoded black bars on the left and right sides for 16:9 TVs. If those hardcoded black bars are there, the picture will look small on a proper 4:3 TV - an effect known as windowboxing.
@@elphive42yeah exactly im asking if the discs are natively 4:3 or if the black bars are hardcoded in (which means the disc resolution is lower than 480)
I deeply apologize if I didn't answer your question correctly. Unfortunately, the DVD drive on my CRT is broken, and I currently don't have any other 4:3 Televisions to confirm whether or not the bars are hardcoded.
@@jaredthewinner7963I’m wondering should I get the season 1 box set of this show so I have that season with the episodes in the correct spot and replace the discs from season 1 here

I wonder who’s is gonna have a Complete Series DVD set next after Dexter?
Johnny Bravo? The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy? Or Regular Show?

Out of the original Cartoon Cartoons, we still need Johnny Bravo and Cow & Chicken.
Billy & Mandy, KND, and Camp Lazlo are overdue as well!

Who ever is making these menus needs to get fired, thank you for making this video ❤
Pretty good dvd might get it

The pilots are indeed included on this set. Since they later aired as part of the show's first season, you can find them on the season 1 discs.
I just wanna know: is the quality okay? The dvd thing is throwing me off, considering bluray has been the standard for years.
Video quality's great imo. I may have over explained it in the video.
@@KingLaneCreationswould totally watch a follow up vid with some quick selections of some episodes just to show what the quality looks like.
any clue if the episodes are native 4:3 or are letterboxed to 4:3 in a 16:9 space like the ed edd n eddy set i own
Thank you for asking. Every episode on the Dexter's Lab set including Ego Trip are presented in their original aspect ratio, which is 4:3.

Dan I thought the first 2 discs were gonna be reissued from the Hall of fame Collection Season 1 set. But boy was I wrong. 😨😨
Yea and not even the worst part the episodes are out of order
@@Code1Lyoko Hopefully they're not the Amazon remasters of the episodes.
