Hi Omar, I don't recommend that parents use boosters without high-backs unless it's unavoidable. Backless boosters offer much less side impact protection and they don't allow for the correct routing of the seat belt. Given high backed boosters fit in a car as small as a Mini I can't see a reason not to use them.
Hi Jenny, this would very much depend upon your choice of infant seat and the height of the driver and/or passenger. If, say, you had a Maxi-Cosi Pebble you could fit it in the back using the seat belt. If however you were to mount it on the base (Cabriofix, 2way Fix) then it would need the front seat very far forward which might be too much of a compromise. I wouldn't recommend a Mini though, I really didn't like mine and I couldn't wait to get rid of it. The Fiat Bravo that I had before it was much much better in all respects (other than social acceptance) and would be a much better car for carrying an infant. I did a review of why I think the Mini isn't a good car over on my other channel. If you are considering one please do take a look: ua-cam.com/video/s6xCKCCNovA/v-deo.html
how about just using the boosters without the high-backs?

@@SafelyTravelled thank you. Very good to know because i thought i could get away with one in the mini.
Are you able to fit two rear facing infant car seats?
