Copidat too right. at around 0:58, when matt plays the fill, you can actually hear him speed up and the rest of the band has to lurch forth in order to keep up with him. i'm sure matt tong would have been rated one of the greatest drummers of the 2000's had it not been for his atrocious time-keeping.

Radiohad's my favourite band, but I started listening to more Bloc Party recently, so watching this guitarist play live was weird--the hair, the wristband, the awkward mannerisms...just like 90s Jonny. He probably swapped guitars with Kele to make it less obvious. Anyway, I'm loving Bloc Party, and I can't stop listening to Silent Alarm.

@salimiful I believe he also uses an octave pedal of some kind, and either an overdrive pedal or a really dry-sounding distortion pedal.
Holy shiet they go from normal tempo to like 350 beat per minute!
Can pretty much understand why Matt keeps getting faster, with all that pressure and the difficulty of the groove.
