The Year is summer 1977 we are in Kickstarter California to witness logging operations on the Santa Fe. This evening a single ATSF C30-7 a product of GE is hauling a short log train from St Nicholas yards to a small yard mill facility on the Kickstarter pass. At one time competition was the Santa Fe and Southern Pacific today its BNSF and UP.
