I refuse to wear polyester. I hate it with a passion. It's just plastic, that does not breathe at all. Even rayon is too similar. Which means as a poor girl I am basically stuck with cotton, or blends I can tolerate.

I practically live In Bermuda Jorts and Target’s Goodfellow & Co men’s shirts. They are a fancier version of a T-shirt. They have the Big and Tall shirts in every size up to a 5XBT (which is both big & tall) or you can get a 5XB or a 5XT. They have so many designs and they put them on clearance usually at the end of the year and I rack up then. The thing about these are even though they are men’s shirts, they don’t look it. I wear mine out all the time and people think they are women’s shirts. Target also has some of the best graphic T-shirts in the men’s section. I’ve gotten several Star Wars T-shirts, including the most amazing Princess Leia shirt ever!! I even found a Xmas Star Wars shirt! I also found a cute Deadpool one. I always wait and try to catch them on clearance, so I usually never pay over $10 for any of them. So ladies, if you hate the way plus size women’s shirts fit like I do, give Target’s men’s section a chance. They are longer to cover up your belly when the women’s don’t. Plus the sleeves are always longer in men’s and will cover my ugly bat wing upper arms that I hate so much!! That’s the #2 of my shit list in women’s shirts.
I really liked the striped tee and the long dress. The tee was so simple but the stripes and asymmetrical detail made it flattering for some reason.
Size up a size or two there’s no shame in getting stuff that actually fits you !

I had an umbilical hernia when I was pregnant with my 2nd and I can’t believe you can even wear jeans! Mine hurt so bad if anything was on it. I was stuck wearing yoga pants for months! I applaud your pain tolerance ♥️

Girl, you've had a hernia now since I first started watching your channel. You really should get it repaired. It can cause permanent damage to your intestines if it gets pinched, the part of instestine that gets pinched will die off from lose of blood flow. Or your intestine can get strangled where it will double you over in pain and need emergency surgery. It's nothing to play with.😘😘
It's not an elective surgery though. If it gets pinched, ruptures or strangles they will have to do emergency surgery to save her life. So I wouod think they could do a hernia repair even with her size. Many bigger people have to and do have surgeries. She just has to find the right Doctor. And if they tell her she needs to lose weight first then she needs to get on that. Hernias are serious.
I think she's been to the doctor. Who wouldn't check out a hurnia? And probably the assessment is that an anesthetic is more dangerous!
Large hernias are not dangerous or life threatening. It is small hernias that are life threatening. So putting her under would be more dangerous than the hernias she has. At her size of course the stomach muscles are extremely weak and creating hernias. I am 200 lbs with hernias that my surgeon refuses to operate on because I have pancreatic cancer and the mesh needed to fix the hernia would get in the way of access needed to my pancreas. There are many medical reasons why she is not having the hernias repaired. I know i would love to have the surgery myself.
Someone as big as Kandy is not a good candidate for abdominal surgery.

I’m right with you on the things you picked. That dress is gorgeous,the top is cute, and the jeans look great! I love that dress so feminine and summery. I was kind of on the fence about the jeans I don’t own any distress jeans. I feel I’m too old to wear them I’m hitting 55 next month. But I really liked those. All the jeans that I have from Dia & Co. Fit me perfect . I’m short bet have a high waist so it’s hard to find my size that fits all the way up. The 1st pair I got fit so good and didn’t have to have the legs cut to fit me. I cried i couldn’t believe they fit perfect. Yes they are a little out of my budget but they are so worth it. I’m comfortable and feel good about myself. I found out about them from watching you. Thank You so much for getting me to try new things. You have no idea what you mean to me.i even wore that sleeveless dress you showed from Kohl’s for Mother’s Day. I got so many compliments on it. I got Dia last summer and this summer I am trying Stitch Fix. Sure, you can find clothes cheaper, but as you said, Dia has good quality. Plus you know they are going to fit and super easy returns if you don't want them. For SF I am wanting blazers and work pants and my choices as plus size are limited in my town. I'm letting someone else do the hassle of shopping. I like the hi-low dress! Very pretty!

Hi Kandy 🙋🏻. Aww, I’m depressed too ☹️. I have some serious stuff going on right now and it’s bought me to my knees TBH , I would have had a mental breakdown if it wasn’t for my wonderful son , anyway ....... I hope you feel better soon , depression is a terrible thing to have . This was a decent box , however I hate the polyester dress , that material was made in hell IMO 🤷♀️❗️. I love stripes ( who says us big gals can’t wear em , who makes these daft rules anyway 🤔❓) The jeans fit you perfectly , hang onto em , well fitting and flattering jeans are priceless . The high low is gorgeous and pretty , perfect for the summer . Hope we both start feeling better soon Kandy , stress and anxiety will be the death of me literally . Sue Smith I’ve had depression since I was 17, but my mom says she can see it as early as when I was 3 or 4. Counseling works wonders. So do meds. Hope you both start feeling better.
Salima S Yes , same here ... I am on medication and have had enough counselling to last a lifetime , nothing really helps TBH . I am very distressed right now as my hubby was involved in a serious accident earlier this month , and faces months of rehabilitation for a spinal injury . I am disabled , and my hubby is my caregiver . That dubious honour has now been handed to my son . I feel so guilty as he has a full time job and a young family of his own . I am praying for some positive news when I talk to my hubby’s doctors tomorrow , I am so sorry that you are suffering too ☹️. Best wishes .

The black floral wrap dress at the end looked fabulous on you! I think the gray striped shirt was not as flattering with the criscross placement. Also, the jeans seemed overpriced for minimal distressing and seemed a bit long with the cuffs.
The prices are absolutely fair for what you get. It's department store grade clothing, not fast fashion grade clothing.
I own department store and fast fashion and I take special care of my clothes and both have lasted the same.

I feel like lately they have really hit the nail on the head with styling you lately. Everything looked good on you- some of the early ones i was like “why”... i love the boho top i feel if it been black or a spring summer color it would have been a keeper you could have worn with a skirt. The color was just blah. Good choice not to keep. The style of the stress you sent back was so cute on you. I wish it had fit size wise better. But your keeps were lovely and cool! I love these boxes.
I have the same floral dress and LOVE it! Keep the dress and top. You said you wished those jeans were a little higher in the front, which means they aren't the perfect ones for you...keep looking for the pair that you don't feel need to be adjusted and make you feel great.

You can always insert as much kitty-cat footage as you want because you know I LOVE cats, haha! I agree with you about getting what you pay for when it comes to clothing. I've had clothes for years that look brand new simply because they are good quality. I've bought cheap shirts that have fallen apart the first time I washed them but it didn't surprise me, LOL. Your too funny. Great since of humor girl. I love the floral dress on you. I haven’t tried a high low dress yet. I like the length of a midi dress. Old navy isn’t high quality. I ordered a couple of items and had to return almost everything because I didn’t realize their sizes ran so big. One of the items I kept were the rockstar jeans and they fit really well. I hate baggy pants. I also got a jean jacket from them that I like.
