Low Rider First Modifications

Finally getting around to modifying the FXLR Low Rider. I start with the ‪@harleydavidson‬ flush mount fuel and dummy caps. Additionally, I add the ‪@originalgaragemoto‬ HoneyComp V3 foot pegs, Gripper shifter pegs (brake and shifter), Adjustable brake arm (later on as I had to drill out stripped brake linkage bolt), Points cover and Air clean.

Looks like you have a vision for new bike. Unfortunate the bike wasn’t pristine. I’ve been bouncing back and forth to Laconia, Saturday and just did get home today. Doing some great rides. I’m headed to coatsville in October if you know of any good riding in that area I’d appreciate any info.

Lot to go over & you know the guy before ripped on it, my old mans soft tail to me feels heavier and top heavy than my RG especially with a full tank.

Yeah it’s weird, I don’t remember that with my Dynas but I guess the geometry/rake is pretty different from Touring?

I will say I bet the bad turning is just the geometry of the FXLR.. my wife’s FXLR turns like shit, bet it will be better with a taller rear shock!
