    As I see, you do a modal exchange but only applied to the melody, the chords and the rest of the elements of the track, if they are in the C scale?

    how do you know which one is a tension note

      He told you, 1 3 5 are stable for certain scale. Chords with this notes are more stable than chords with unstable notes. Stable notes over unstable chord lose this stability. Unstable notes over stable chord feel better.
      Read about this deeper, like 2th is supertonic, 7th leading tone.

      For this reason V want to to I cause its build from 5 7 and 2. V chord has two unstable notes which need back to tonic.

      Chord are responsible for feeling notes above him.
