About one month after I lost my Dad to cancer I started watching succession. The first/second episode ofcourse drew me in, especially in the condition I was in. However, the fourth season completely ripped me apart when Roman is unable to speak in front of the casket. 2:02. Pure pain, I couldn’t stop crying but it was cathartic. The addition of Radiohead’s soundtrack gave me another glimpse of that feeling.

The way the scene at the beach is edited from 2:43 onwards with Logan's voice-over, the way the music picks up again as if an interlude between Logan's legacy in life vs death.... complete art.

the end is so sad it breaks my heart over and over and over again. Thank you great job)) Sudden thought - maybe it was Logan's plan after all: to betray and sacrifice his best and most deserving child - to make the sun rise again and keep things moving forward for the company. So Kendall was a well needed sacrifice Logan made.
