I bought one last week from the original owner. Near mint I condition and still has original tires. Absolute garage queen for 1200 bucks! Man I had no clue how fun these old 2 strokes could be! I’m 36 and have had quads my whole life but never had a 2 stroke. The sound alone will put a smile on your face. I wouldn’t trade my 99 for a brand new 1000 😎
Same here! I have had mine for almost 6 years now And still puts a smile on my face Has plenty of power for a older quad Definitely underrated for sure!
Put a 2stroke sled engine in it! Like a 800cc twin Polaris, a 900cc Cat, or a 1,000cc Skidoo in there! After you get accustomed to the power, put a hairdryer "turbo" on it!...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠
I got a 96 4x4 from my grandpa earlier this year. Had been sitting so I just dropped $300 in parts and tires for it. Hoping to get it going good and strong again ASAP!
White Lightning that’s awesome thankfully two strokes are so simple to work on so it should be up and going very soon 🤙 only problem I could see is a carb rebuild that’s what I did to this one and it worked great until the top end went anyways 🤣 best of luck 👍

I have a scrambler and unfortunately I didnt know it had a oil pan inside the motor to keep it lubricated and went bone dry... I had 2 stroke oil full in my oil tank though
@@joelrides9076 yea my motor is actually almost done, both cases blew holes in them, everything is the motor has all race performance parts except the gears and counterbalance shaft but the cylinder is bored 2mm over wiesco 85mm and ported and polished cylinder
Bought mine for 1700 and I didn't have a good test drive but from what I saw it was fine and when I got home the starter didn't work and it didn't pull and had carb problems I just had it completely fixed and it's amazing
So I have a 2000 scrambler 2 stroke 400 and I just changed the belt on it and after a short ride it was smoking pretty bad any ideas? It’s the right belt for the bike
JoelRides Honda’s reliable as heck but pretty tame, that scrambler looks like a bunch of fun and I hope you get that engine in and get her running, sadly I can’t afford one and am rocking a arctic cat 300 manual :)!

picked up two sport versions of these with bad heads and fixed em up and boy these things are quick for only 400 bucks

XxWWRGODxX _ in my opinion of ATVs for 850 that would be a great deal for a scrambler 400, ones that don't even run go for 700.

I bought mine for 450 and it needed nothing but s new battery i just put one of my old batteries is it runs like a champ

Seth Blood Sadly the motor seized in it last fall. I got a Honda foreman 450 now. but I do have a new motor for it
