      He said he figured that one out, the one before it (get the ball into the bottle neck despite the dowel in it's way) is the one he said he's never solved.
      You can tell that he's solved it with the paper because the paper has an obvious curve to it, even though the envelope doesn't have the same curve.

      I think the "solution" is to fill the bottle with a solution. Filling the bottle with water will help the object inside float towards the tube.

    • @danielrowe3705
      @danielrowe3705 3 роки тому +75

      My first thought was that a piece of paper IS the solution. Maybe not a piece that wide, or perhaps you'd fold it to make it thinner. If you then roll it slightly and put it into the bottle so it makes a little chute for the cork think

    • @sandwichdelta

      My thought was to wrap the Solution paper into a kind of tube, but not so perfectly, so it's more like a cone/funnel. You would hold it sideways with the funnel pushed down, and shake it around until the lozenge catches on the side of the cone, then just pull it out

    The bottle puzzle with the wooden cross and ball in it is actually very simple to solve. Simply lay the bottle on its side, position the ball into the little groove at the long end of the cross, and spin the entire bottle as if you were playing said game. Centripetal force will do its work, sending the two pieces to opposite ends and the ball securely in the neck.

      iRider I don't think so (he could have just presented the puzzle and leave it there) but he repeadetly talked how he didn't understand it and that he still couldn't figure it out.

    I had a client who had a huge wooden puzzle collection I saw when I went to his place. I said I was interested in this and that I watched Grandillusions and he showed me a case in another part of his house with 2 or 3 Harry Eng bottles! Blew my mind to see them in person.

    People seem very interested in the solution puzzle but I was interested in the note stuck under the bottle with the coin on top. If you can't touch the bottle or the table, surely you could place your finger on the coin and press down while sliding the bank note out. Maybe the coin was just there to show the bottle never tips, but I like my idea too :)

    I have no idea why this was recommended to me but this feels so refreshing. Not a fucking vine compilation or a vlog. Just an old Gentleman showing off his collection of whine bottles.

    I think The solution is that that paper is supposed to be rolled up into a tube and stuck thru the neck of the bottle, and down over the red peg thing. (Probably with the bottle right side up u have to shake it around to move the peg under the paper tube) then once u slide the tube over the peg, flip the bottle and it will come out. .. now DO IT AND MAKE IT A VIDEO!! I wanna see it work!! lol

    Hold up, the solution paper is the solution. you role it up and put it inside making a tonal for the thing to get out of the bottle. I don't know if anyone else has commented this because I can't be bothered checking but it seems like it would work.

  • @XvCiiA

    The paper is the solution, Put the paper in the tube in a cemi-circle fashion then learn the bottle to capture the piece. :)

    for the "solution bottle trick" roll paper into tube shape, insert into neck, trap red thing in paper tube, turn upside down
