I switched from Greyhound to a city bus 25 years ago it was the best move I made. Greyhound is a horrible place to work.

Yes u have to deal with passengers as a city bus driver but maintenance for coach style buses can be costly & least not driving school bus tho
I tend to take I95 when coming back to York from Georgetown Delaware most of the time. Usually i encounter a slowdown or 2 but not many but i95 motorists are irritating if you ask me.
I took it once it was horrible I only take 301 in the daytime after 7 pm i would take 95
Hey 💗 , when you drove for Greyhound do they give you a gps to get to your destinations. Or do they show you the route and that’s it ?
Its worse for a motor coach to break down than a tractor trailer. Ive had my share of tractor trailer break downs. One brake system not building up air pressure and a radiator sprung a leak. As well as many check engine lights coming on. And placed out of service due to excessive weight violation.
Yup I have had my fair share of break downs in trucks. Hopefully you were able to pull over safe. It sucks in a bus though bc the passengers usually get angry.

@@Cherishbarber94 I pulled into a motel parking lot on US15 on Dillsburg pa when i noticed my brake system below 100psi and it wasn't building up air pressure. And when my radiator sprung a leak a furniture store manager allowed me to park in the lot.
I'm informed my company I was leaving trucking. Can't do anymore regional/ otr working 7 days per week any longer. I need a life now.

@@Cherishbarber94 May get one of those hourly jobs driving those little tank class B vehicles. Less headache and home daily. I got my options open once I get back to terminal to return truck. Semi trucks are so slow, so annoying when trucks try to pass at 1mph faster and hold up traffic on a hill lol
It’s a new store down Arundel Mills( where Best Buy’s use to be) they have pull over Snuggie you can be warm while you sit they only $20 they oversized & cute

@@Cherishbarber94 Doesn't buses have some kind of suspension you can ascend or descend? Or at least that the distance from the ground increases🤔. Do you go over speed bumps at what speed?
How many seats y'all coach have? IDK if it's the camera or the MCI style seats but it looks like you have a lot of leg room in the passenger area.
We have 56 seats

It’s a parking lot or you have to park on the street

Some people don't have the urge to use the bathroom until they stand up, and l witnessed at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC a women waiting outside of the woman's restroom because it was crowded suddenly her pants in the crotch area was getting wet. She couldn't hold her water

During the pandemic a lot of the work got cut so it wasn’t worth it. Personally I don’t but my company does.
If you live over an hour out, you must be in Frederick or Harford County. I aint about that commute life.
