It’s only when you’ve been ghosted, breadcrumbed, dumped or abandoned that the fog clears and you can see how utterly f-ed up your man was - and how well he hid it from you. Lesson learned. Onwards and upwards.

He was the codependent one, I wasn't. And if he never showed his vulnerable side, kept secrets, never told me what he went through or how he felt, but lied, ghosted, breadcrumbed and betrayed me, he's got himself to blame for self-sabotaging. I provided him with everything, gave him all I got, told him and showed him I loved him and he treated me horribly. When I confronted him, he did a 180 on me; he didn't face me, didn't apologize.
He left me no choice, I had to cut him loose.
So, I really don't care about how he feels, whether or not he wants another chance. I've ran out of chances. He had enough chances. I'd rather be all by myself than to be with such a maliciously envious, possessive, controlling, manipulating, emotionally immature person. He was an absence pretending to be a presence. He saw me as his service provider. I'm not a 'people pleaser' but I really cared and nurtured him because I loved him. He sucked me dry, left me out cold and cheated on me.
Life doesn't stop, and I survived his cruelties. I was honest and he abused my generosity, he broke my trust. Love wasn't on his menu, everything else was. When I found out about his betrayal, I could drop him like a hot potato right there and then. I'm a very patient and loyal person but such things are off limits and when I cut someone out of my life I never look back and I never take him back.
