Being a child is difficult because of the things you go through during puberty. You change and your feelings start to unwind. Being an adult is difficult because of all the responsibilities you have to go through. There really isn't a time where you have the best moment of your life, because you never get to stop worrying. There are still assignments, there are still taxes due, but you reading this, there is a time and place where you don't need to do anything. That maybe summer break, or after college, no. It's when you feel like you are finally done you're work for the night. Remember to keep calm, take breaks, and check the due dates. Yeah you can wait til the last moment, or do it all in one night, but what will that bring you. Stress, despair, anxiety? Take a drink of water, get a snack, go play some minecraft, or just chill out in your bed. Remember you matter to people. I love you, we all truly do!

I wish I could actually show people how I feel, everyone thinks I am cold and I just don’t care. I actually care alot but every time I showed how I feel people called me weak, for so long I have been stuck in this cycle of being basically emotionless that I actually started to not care anymore. It makes me feel disgusted when I try to show emotions, sometimes I look back when I had friends and I regret loosing them while saying that I don’t care. I never wanted to be so cold and I hope that one day I will be able to show emotions again without feeling ashamed.

I'm glad this is only recommended to the lofi community, the comment section is so peaceful yet warming.
You never realize how much music helps you, when it is taken away. I joined the Military (really a mistake on my part cause I have some mental issues.) And thought I would be fine without music. I never realized how much I actually needed it in my life. Playlist like this and especially this artist, have helped me through some of my darkest times. Today it still does and I'm happy that I'm getting better mentally.

For anyone who is wondering what anime the background is from, its from a show called "Terror in Resonance" and the person in the video is one of the main characters, Lisa. It's one of my favourite shows, and I would highly recommend it. It is a physiological thriller and carries some heavy themes thought so please be careful!

As I listen to this, it starts to rain for the first time in a while, a refreshing sprinkle that swells into a serious rainfall then back to the gentle falling of teardrops like tides. At the same time, the sun sets and paints the sky with splashes of orange, blending with the cooler hues of the sky to make pinks and purples dance with the diverse textures of the clouds that rise elegantly above the desert. I take out my camera that I have been neglecting to try to capture the rose-tinted air that falls around me like mist. No photo could ever do the real thing any justice, but that's why I am able to create something new from what God's majestic creation has to offer.
I know that feeling. In the end no camera could capture this, all you can do is to live that moment as fully as possible :)

I am studying for my first year college exams with a huge headache at almost midnight. Looking to take some stress away, I saw this beautiful thumbnail and gave it a click. As I heard the first beat drop with that nice, rusty sounding filter over it, I almost cried... but not out of sadness. My eyes welled up because this music was trying to bring out all the emotions I have bottled up until this point. Lofi brings my inner conscience to the forefront of my mind, and helps me feel at peace with my own panic and helps me think more clearly. Thank you, and never stop making mixes that help all the people that I know can relate to this exact situation.

Late 2020. I got my first VR headset, I thought it was amazing. I quickly downloaded the one free game on the store, VRChat. After wandering around for a few days, I met someone. We played every day, we talked all the time, he was my best friend. We hung out online all the time. It wasn't until earlier this year, we drifted away, our friendship slowly started dissipating. I didn't want our friendship to end, the friendship felt one sided at that point. I know that friendships eventually must come to an end, it is just sad. I can't imagine a happier time in my life than those times.

I remember seeing this thumbnail for years and thinking it was beautiful, that quiet bliss. When I watched Terror in Resonance, I literally shouted "SO THAT'S WHERE IT'S FROM" when the still popped up. I'm glad to say that quiet bliss is both present in the anime and this video :)

My case of nostalgia:
beginning of march 2020, a quarantine is being alluded to and i'm excited for the break. I take a soda and a bag of chips along with my playlist to the roof of the shed out back where i climb atop and silently watch the cell phone tower lights flash on a hill across the town. The red lights shine and twinkle in the black starry sky, like my hope for the future. Those times are gone, we moved and bought a new house and i miss those times, yet i move on.

(i dont remember what boat it was.) it was really fun, until i realized we had to go. after we left i never saw that girl again. i still remember all the friends i made when i was younger, but it seemed the friendship had only lasted a day.

As a child we think that the good times will never end, and that our friends will always grow alongside us. As an adult, we spend so much time reflecting on those times, wishing that they would come back , and that we could see many of those friends once more. We lose sight of how temporary things really are, and regret not cherishing them more while we had the chance.

this video means so much to me, i have friends on discord and we have known eachother for almost a yr now and when we first met we would always play this on rhythm (a music bot) and play minecraft , not only is rhythm not useable anymore but the server we used to vc on and play minecraft on is dead. so rn im playing minecraft on a dead server, sitting alone in a vc and waiting for my friends to call me on the new server we made, how ironic that this vid was made to help nostalgia but has now become one if my biggest nostalgia hits
That dead server got me, my gf and i used to play together and now it's just wasted, i just stare at the progress we made for up to an hour. Knowing I'll never see her again, and i don't want to.
I could listen to lofi any time of day, but lofi late at night just hits different. I think of how quiet the world is, and how stressed/anxious I was before I put on these relaxing beats, and how thousands of others are also listening to the same music as me, in a blanket burrito, believing for a moment- maybe it really will be all okay. As my birthday comes up, I remember listening to some of these songs during completely different phases of my life, life as pretty much a baby. It feels good to have made it here, here isn't paradise or anything but at least I haven't stopped. Aging can be really scary but with every year that passes I grasp onto my precious little life harder and harder.
Christmas things like holidays always makes me feel depressed.

Day 7: Back with anew day. Today I woke up at 12:10 PM. Then studied a little bit, have bath and did my first period of online class of today. Then took my lunch and did the 2nd online class, have a little bit rest and started studying like I do. Then came and watched TV for almost half an hour. Well I was sad to know that the shop owner from whose shop I used to buys things has got affected by Corona recently. Whatever then have my dinner and now finally back on bed once again. You see guys however hard you try some troubles will always be there to disturb you.
