- It is truly miraculous when you stumble upon the Wind Crystal and obtain jobs. Even more miraculous when it's in the 3D remake, because Luneth gets to finally change outfits and stop looking like a Hershey bar.
Tell me in the comments section, which job from FF3 best describes you? I'm basically just a Dark Knight who sucks at sword fighting and ended up with a stupid harp instead.

Yeah I know many go crazy over eternal wind, the overworld theme, but this is good too. Was crazy to learn to have everyone except whoever lands the final blow defend when 1 enemy is left for faster job levels with 5 character actions for each battle. Just wish the onion gear was easier to get and was job level instead of character level with onion knight power boosts as it's even more win more than fft war of fhe lions with the elemental guns, other job masteries (excluding itself, squire, chemist, mime and dark knight and gear (onion armor is amazing with all the buffs including reraise).
Yeah now that you mention it, I spent many hours in this cave defending against goblins. I'd say "good times," but I'd be completely full of it.

Brilliant arranagement and performance! FFIII's music is so legitimately underrated.
I feel like I was pretty vanilla with my jobs during both of my playthroughs (both the Pixel Remaster and DS versions).
Monk/Black Belt, Ninja and Dragoon were my go-tos.
But yeah, always look forward to these covers!

Amazing rendition of this track!!! I love when you bring out multiple harps, hearing how they layer is fascinating (the bass strings are such a great addition!) Luneth really does look like a Hershey bar in the DS version of III. 😆
Yeah WHAT HAPPENED. Every single character got a cool design except him. He looks like he wandered into Hershey Park, barfed on his shirt after one too many rides and sweets, and covered it up with a tank top he purchased in the gift shop on the way out.

I always had a fondness for the Scholar especially in the remake when they made it quite strong. The items scaling with Int and having double power absolutely destroys a few bosses. But probably the job that fits me best is Monk.

Many people make covers of tracks from Final Fantasy as a hobby, but I believe that you have a musicality that allows you to highlight the melody and rhythm of the music itself. That's why, to be honest, I have even stopped listening to some tracks from the official Final Fantasy OST and instead, I play those available on this channel.
A year ago, I remember taking courses in Computer Graphics and Multimedia at the university. I passed both the practical part and the exam with excellent grades, while listening to extended tracks like "Calm Before the Storm" and "You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet". Unfortunately, now I have some terribly boring subjects that don't inspire me to listen to Final Fantasy music. But maybe when I start working on my bachelor's thesis, I would listen to this track if it would be an extended one-hour version of it)

Sounds really nice! For class...I haven't played FFIII, but from what I can tell I'll pick Dragoon, run away and attack again later, hopefully when the enemy is weaker. Or Red Mage, kind of a cool concept, but in the end can't master either white or black magic. Maybe there's some niche use for it though.

Maybe because they are both older Final Fantasy games, I got to thinking about Final Fantasy Mystic Quest and the songs for the cities (City of Forest, Fire, etc.) came to mind. Then I rediscovered "Beautiful Forest" and the "Battle Theme".
Mystic Quest probably has the *BBBEEESSSTTT* battle theme for any Final Fantasy game.

@@Harpsibored Mystic Quest was Japan's answer to selling Final Fantasy to the U.S. as they felt we were too dumb to get how RPGs work, even after getting FFI on NES. The game is basic level. Kind of holds your hand on your journey.
Worth trying though. Music is the BEST part and, for those of us who are Nostalgia-mancers, will see one of the steps we got to get to where we are today.

another certified harpsibored banger. i always liked the dragoons best...I was a Kain fanboy. when I was younger i had an internet handle like xXdarkdragoonXx or something cringey like that. I should probably finish ff iii. i had the 3d remake on DS but it was my first FF that used a job system so I had no idea what I was doing and I got stuck at the Garuda boss fight and never finished.
btw, have you ever listened to any of the Kingdom Hearts soundtracks? those games get pretty wacky, but Yoko always cooks up something good for the music. I feel like 'Scent of Silence' would be cool to hear in the marvelous Harpsibored style.

i laughed when i read the video description. Hershey bar 🤣 black mage is my favorite/most identifiable job. I've always wondered two things about playing harps. 1st: how do you play sharps and flats on those? 2nd: do your fingers get calluses?
On pedal harps, you play sharps and flats using pedals at the bottom of the harp. You move the pedal up when you want a flat and down when you want it sharp. And yes you usually end up with calluses, especially on the left ring finger. That one tends to play the most wire strings
