Actually i'm glad they gave Hades to this storyline to be a next big bad person. Cuz in myth Hades is the most chill and justice person then Zeus and Poseidon ever will be. Normally everybody gave Hades a some shit storyline but this one is the fit his personallty the most.
They did a really good job of making you feel sympathy for Hades, he is doing the wrong things for the right reason. Its tragic really, but Real Greek mythology is all about that anyway.
