What are your favorite skins? For me, I've really liked Blue Story, Daughter of the Stars, Dead Cells, and Smolaire recently, but there's just so many to choose.

I really loved the daughter of the stars one. I like the other simple ones where they're just a different vessel but there's no difference in skill animation. Cube Knight is of course elite 😤

You just reminded me I still have cleanup to do on the Fyremoth spells. If you pause the vid at the right time, some of the spells (very obviously) get cut off by the sprite boundaries.

Sad-ist's kuneho skin was momentarily lost. Huh, I wonder what made that happen but I'm happy it's back and that I somehow also had a save for it prior to the whole removal thing that randomly happened. It's a pretty cool skin isn't it? I like it alot

Surprised to see Tianlu 2:18:50 to also be featured here. Tianlu is originally a creature from ancient chinese tales who symbolizes luck and wealth, while this skin is a reanimation of the character Tianlu in a chinese furry comics. Love this one.

The beheaded (dead cells) skin is on point! Especially with the giant's middle finger and flask masks!
So many great skins. Had downloaded some of them, such as Killer Whale, Grimm Knight and Smolaire, but damn, so many cool ones and so many I still did not know about. Big props to the hollow knight community for making these skins, they are insanely epic. And a big thanks to fireb0rn for showing them all off. That must have taken quite a bit of time to do. Definitely gonna download more of these skins!

its really lovely to see all the interpretations different artists have on the knight and the animations that come with spells, dashing, etc. its part of the reason why i bought hollow knight for PC despite already having it on my switch- skin modding is just too darn fun.
side note- sad-ist recently released a 5 minute long animation featuring kuneho, so if anyone who enjoys using their hollow knight skin mods is reading this i HIGHLY recommend checking it out! some of the animations in the mod gain context in the animation which is REALLY cool

Starry (Stary) Knight is one I can't get away from! I tried a handful of others, but within a few minutes of playing with those I severely miss my gorgeous sparkly bug and the cute star masks. 😭
I gasped so loud when I saw the Daughter of the Stars skin, but even THAT I'm funnily iffy about because I think I'll end up sad from the loss of the pretty shade cloak animation...

I have been SCOURING THE INTERNET for a year now for something that even remotely resembled a Greenpath vessel skin, to the point where I was 1/4th of a way through making one myself before giving up. AND FINALLY, FAILED VESSEL AND GREENPATH COMES THROUGH. THANK YOU TO THE LOVELY ARTISTS I KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO MAKE THESE SKINS.

I definitely can't pick just one favorite skin - some of my top picks are Dead Cells, Hive Knight, Killer Whale, Little Assassin, Mould, Newborn Spring, Power Core & Smolaire. And there are more skins being made all the time to look forward to!
The deadcell skin sinc so well with deadcells humour getting stung by the collector's syringe is something that most deadcell player can realated to by *a lot*
And of course talk about the nail color is the same as the most mother forking pain in the ass weapon of the game "The curse sword" is just fantastic
And to top it all up the potion drinking is just cute

Failed vessel is my favourite it is still similar so it won’t confuse you but also different and nice

I'd have to give it to Killer Whale, I saw Skurry use it in one of their videos a while ago and I thought C-Dash was awesome because Ghost is surfing haha, water effects always look nice and the whale when you cast Abyss Shriek is really cool. The eyes are also a bit more closed which give me "I'm so done with this crap" vibes, fitting for a little guy going around a destroyed kingdom facing enemies in every nook and cranny. Overall really cool skin.

Dead Cells skin is like my favourite videogame... into my favourite videogame?! The Abyss Shriek turned into the Giant's middle finger looks so based, gaw damn!! Btw it would have looked better if there were biters instead of Serenades as weawers. But anyway, this is absolutely the best skin ever!!1!!1!!!
I love the Dead Cells one so much. The Creator could've made the Abyss Shriek one have the Giant's fist (like the Giant Whistle from Dead Cells) but instead of a fist, it's the iconic middle finger. I love it.
The grubs crystal dash is so awesome!!

i love the dead cells one, but the sword summon and the mushroom summon should be swapped, and the collecter owl thing should just be war owl. when i use the skin, im probably gonna go to the sprite sheet and edit out a certain spell
