This is great to see what you can access once you have removed the fairing, but doesn't actually explain how to remove the fairing!

Sorry it didn’t do what you needed but it was only ever intended as a guide for anyone who was intimidated by such a job giving some hints on best practice. Thanks for watching

That's ok!i read the manual and it explained it there. Your video helps by pointing out the important things like that aren't covered in manual.

I Know this is a long time after you made this video, but can you remember how the nearside foot wind deflector attached to the bike, i can't see anywhere it would fit.

      Hi
      It comes with some bracketry.
If you don’t have the brackets it won’t fit.
Lots of 2nd hand deflectors are sold without the brackets and are therefore useless

Ok thanks, i took them off a donor bike, there was a bracket on the right hand side, but the left hand side had a long tube which a long bolt went through, the bikes been scrapped now so i cant have a look at it, and cant remember where it fit. ill figure something out. thanks for the reply.@@biker1k

@@riverthecat Good man welcome to the club mate they are fantastic bikes. By the sounds of it you'll get on top of her and get it all sorted. One tip if I may from experience order a set of caliper bolts for front wheel change I had one snap on me yesterday but luckily I had a spare.
Have you checked out the owners groups on Fb. Good source of spares and advice

Once all of the bolts are removed they just kind of fall off fella. It's really not that bad a job and it can be done quite quickly the more times you do it.
