The warhammer minis may cost more than his PC. I have been collecting and painting warhammer 40k for only a few years and have already put in thousands. Awesome hobby and rewarding to see the paining skills grow not to mention the minis and lore are awesome but dang it is a very expensive and time consuming hobby

Not talking about the collectors editions and "crazy expensive bigger models" (which are expensive beyond any reason). Not saying he spends more on that than other stuff, just saying she definitely didn't do her research here when brushing away a "cheap and endearing hobby" :D ;)

I'd love to see his collection, you can often see the improvement in painting over the years and even how people's style / taste changed as they grew older or got inspiration from lore, be it in or outside of 40k.
