Cavill is a classically trained ACTOR. "Celebrity" and "actor" are often forced together by the masses, which is why so many of them end up moving or living in another country than where their movies are typically shot. Otherwise, they tend to live in segregated communities so fans and stalkers can't get to them. They like the privacy. And celebrity or not, it's not an excuse to stick your nose in someone's private life. I really can't _imagine_ giving a single sh*t who's married to who or who's pregnant, etc., and I don't know why anyone cares.

I think Cavill is the perfect example of a true nerd, with his interests in Warhammer 40 000 and the like, being unexpected in the Hollywood spotlight. People laugh it off when he says he plays World of Warcraft and paints Warhammer miniatures, not realizing it's a huge part of his personality. I think this perhaps shows the remnants of the stigma around being a "nerd" before it became popularised through video games, and much like how the jocks were put off vy the D&D players in the 90s, Cavill is perhaps expected to be less nerdy by other Hollywood actors because of not only his physique but the simple fact that he made it as an actor.

Because of society and social media. People forget that being single and living by yourself or with family is okay as well. Most people are capable of living alone or with pets or family and friends etc.

I think you hit it on the head! The signs are there from his youth and his computer assembly video! Vapid Hollywood types leach on to him and are disappointed when they learn his personality. All of the above + his anxiety. Which was not completely touched upon in the video - it is why he has an emotional support dog. He's definitely an ambivert, he can be extroverted when he needs to be but very introverted most of the time. He needs someone who can appreciate that part of him as well as be able to take the backlash with his fame. That is a very fine line. If you are to date Henry you have to be prepared for that. It can be hard for everyone involved. That level of fame is daunting for many, and especially for people who are more introverted. The people who are more extroverted don't do well with him just wanting to be at home, and those more introverted don't do well with fame. He needs to date an ambivert like himself, and one who is on his particular schedule.

Souls do what they do, and when things work, they will. Period. Dawn I think you have a real insight into this man's character. I think at heart he is basically an introvert, and quite shy. Also he did not grow up with women,he had 5 brothers but no sisters, and his voice formative years were spent on a relatively small British island. His later school years were at a boy's boarding school so he wasn't surrounded by girls on a day to day basis. His love of online gaming again allows him to be anonymous, gender neutral (I've never actually heard him describe which character he plays as...). Physical prowess is clearly a big passion for him and the majority of his relationships have been with sportswomen or fitness enthusiasts. Ultimately I agree that his ideal partner will need to have that same balance of introversion & ability to handle his spotlight without being overwhelmed by it. He comes across as such a decent human being that it would be great to see him find his soulmate. Ultimately though maybe he is a singleton at heart...with Kal of course.

Nobody was meant to be in long term relationships. That was achieved by limiting w*men's ability to support themselves so they needed a male provider. That's no longer necessary because we don't live in hunter gatherer societies and w*men work and earn their own living and live in houses that men already built. The industrial complex has done away with families and "long-term relationships"/ unions. It's called the paradox of choice. When you give people options they choose the best one, but if you give them too many i.e. free casual intimacy, attention, and long-term partners to choose from, people end up choosing nothing.

It is up to him how he lives his life. If he wants to be single and is happy then fine. Personally I found staying single immensely more satisfying and made me happier than trying to deal with a relationship. Far less stress., plus I can do what I want when I want and however I want without hassle.

@@CroisMoi I have known several people that have had multiple marriages and they all seem to be constantly trying to find something and not really happy. Granted the single life style isn't perfect but for me it is low stress and comfortable. I am quite happy with it. I have friends to share things with when I want to be around others, travel a lot (or did before Covid) both alone and with friends at times and don't need someone underfoot 24/7 to be happy. And yeah, I am well over 40 but don't worry about some petty immature jerk thinking I'm a loser. LOL, life is just fine for me.

I don't understand why people would generate rumours about somebody's sexuality or "relationship problems" based on them being single. It's just ridiculous. I'm happily married (my wife tells me :-) ) but I have a friend in his 50's who has had relationships with more women than I've had hot dinners, he's happy, his ex-girlfriends never have a bad word to say about him so does that imply he's gay or has "relationship issues"? Not that it would matter anyway, but if I looked like Henry and was as financially secure as him, if I hadn't met my wife already, I would probably make the most of the situation. Not everyone is focused on finding somebody to marry. What's wrong with enjoying the company of a number of partners and enjoying your time together in the relationship?

I think he’s still single because he knows he has many choices outside of settling but I think perhaps his relationships end because he has way way too many requirements of what type of woman he will date! There’s nothing wrong with compromise or certain likes but he seems to expect a lot to be what he sees so in a way he wants to date a woman too similar to himself & the fact is opposites do attract & often those are the unions that are longer term! Wanting too similar can in itself cause friction as the other person can only be who they are! Ever noticed many today say “my” relationship when they are referring to their partner & themselves? In a way I think they are subconsciously saying mine because they are wanting more so what they want over seeing it as a team effort! If you pay attention you’d notice they are mostly the ones more likely to fail! People who say “our” relationship are already seeing it as two! That mindset can truly make a huge difference in an outcome! I think he has ( by what he says in many of the interviews) decided to mould into his life what he perceives as workable instead of seeing where the initial attraction can go? Life love sex involves two completely unique persons entering into each other’s personal domain! Unless there’s absolutely no common attraction then it could fail as let’s be honest we are initially attracted to the shell of a person & some of their traits but there’s so much more to everyone & we constantly change as human beings! Far too often you get two people together who have lots to offer one another but then one person decides they will change them into what they see as the perfect partner! Once you try changing anyone you’ve lost the very person you came to be attracted toward! So unless he’s willing to drop his expectations to allow whoever he meets to show him whether she’s the one he can appreciate he will never know if they are who he wants long term!

Probably the only way he could figure out if any women is fit is by pretending to be a regular guy. And set up an account as a regular person. And reach out to someone. But he needs to be careful. Because too many fakes have already left women paranoid. I give these fake men 3 chances. In other words 3 red flags. Ask for too many pics. They use these to set up fake accounts. Ask predictable questions like whats your hobby ect... Again for fake accounts. Last but lease whats your profession. To see if your successful person. So they can con you for money. So when these things are discussed i report them and block them. He needs to know or learn to watch for red flags properly. If not may scare of a potential mate. At least i think so. So Henry read this and learn from it. Too many of the women that potentially really sincerely like you can be scared easily if any of these rules are broken. Thats my opinion.
