2020 UPDATE: After switching Graphics Card from AMD build to NVIDIA build, the invincible boss bug became very noticeable, making this mod unplayable.

I don't know why, but i love the look of the first portal Glados, it somehow looks like an early 2000's giant computer to me somehow, Portal 2 Glados looks more like an actual robot.

Tbh I think the Portal 1 GLaDOS has it's charm, they're the same model technically, portal 2 glados is just missing the rounded faceplate and some side panels

And portal 2 glados is missing one tragic thing portal 1 glados had.... the arms attached to her. Basically her arms were tied together behind her. Poor glados

Theory: What if Wheatly had to become The Intelligence core since he was making GLaDOS Silly or a Idiot like she described so they had to reset him as a Intelligence and GLaDOS was thinking about what is the cake recipe so the core made that idea then the core went down the furnace but had lost the reseted chip and left with our known wheatley :D

I'm not saying, that the premise is 100% right, but it is something, that scientists are studying and are also topics of many sci-fi movies. :)And why not? There are many types of life. And no. Amazon Echo is maybe as inteligent as an vacuum cleaner saddly. So no self awareness. And not alive. :D
It’s actually the same glados body in portal 2, the sidepieces of the head are missing and a lot of the body is missing too.

i just realized portal 2 glados looked the same with portal 1 glados, except without that camera protection thing
To get GLaDOS' hitbox to work, just don't extract the file named "glados_body.xbox.vtx" in GLaDOS Model/models/props_bts. that is her hitbox file.
Why is it called "gladoz_body.*Xbox*.vtx"?
Wait nevermind it probably means "X Box" like a hitbox or something
I installed the mod and it works great! At least until i kill GLADOS then the models revert to the base ones, is there a fix for this?
How in the world did you get the GLaDOS fight to work? It seems as if everyone (Myself included) is having the same "Invincibility" problem. You must have done something different.

I used this mod and now I can't kill GLaDOS, every time I hit her nothing happens.

So in portal 1 they built apeture science and glados that way but since the humans were gone she built it her way

the only issue with this is that in the Rattman comic she has her Portal 1 head.
I assume the head in Portal 2 was either a spare or an alternate.
I heard somebody say the that the cover over her optics is missing in portal 2 is why she looks different face wise... not sure about their credibility though

How'd you get the hitbox to work?
GLaDOS in Portal 1/2 is not an NPC, it is a simple dynamic model, and when hit the damage (although the model is not breakable) cores fall

Why did GLaDOS's design change?
I think it's because they wanted to give GLaDOS more emotional expressions for Portal 2.
From what I understand, Glados has multiple prototype bodies in different parts of the facility. This also makes a bit of sense because portal 1 Glados is last seen on the surface, and portal 2 glados is first seen inside the facility.
