here is the flaw here: They gave Glados a personality core that is angry. The facility never would have gone to ruin if they had never given her that core
A logical thing to do is give here a core that makes her NOT LIFE THREATENING
This is non-canon, and there's a reason for that.
Joseph S dude, in the portal 1 fight the red core is angry and biting at you.
I think the whole GLaDOS project was on very shaky ground from the get go.
Too many variables to all keep in line, I mean you have Caroline’s essence and a part of her combined with raw computational power which thus is what GLaDOS is, that combined with her own sentience and her hatred of the scientists trying to keep a leash on her and not letting her develop on her own and then stick personality cores injecting her with voices and of course she’s going to go insane and turn vengeful and evil.

@@fineryx Caroline did not want to become digitized, however, she was forced to become GladOS anyway. Sure, the red core doesn't help but it is not the main reason she killed the scientists. Despite not remembering the exact details, she wanted revenge.

@@zachduperron8543 In the lab rat comic it explained that the only reason she could use neurotoxin was because she said that she wanted to conduct an experiment with neurotoxin and a box of kittens.
Of course, for some reason the scientists obliged even though she tried to kill them many times before.

The Prelude is nice but the voice acting is too robotic with the speech engines.
Glad0s was a lot more robotic in the first game.

glados picking stuff up is so cool, it looks like she is doing one of those things where someone gets a super power and stuff floats around them. it should've been used in p2 or p1 properly

GLADOS in portal prelude: has lasers, levitation, can burn people and can kill you very quickly
GLADOS in portal 1: ha ha stupid robot go boom
GLADOS in portal 2: core corruption at 100%
Note, portal prelude is just a fan game that has no connection to the actual story. In canon Glados is not a over power robot like mechagodzilla. She’s just uses items and machines that the facility makes like turrets or neurotoxin because that’s the her actual strength being control of the whole facility. But portal 1 and 2 has constantly shown time and time again that the place is super flawed and not quite super strong and is often prone to malfunction and mistakes.
P.s. I’m sorry if it seems like I’m being extra but I just wanted to let people know incase they take this joke too seriously and actually think it’s a plot hole

Where do you think Civil Protection steals their ideas from?
Combine started in 2004 and aperture started in 19 something, so eather combine stole idea from aperture, or combine just made manhacks and didnt know aperture made the same thing.
Maybe Aperture discovered the Combine with portals and traded technology with the Combine and advanced them for their own uses. Maybe that’s why Aperture has so much similar technology like the Combine like these energy pellets from Portal 1.

If we got HL: Alyx we might get something like Portal Rattman or something and you would probably see glados being built, then the facility get destroyed, then see chell going through the chambers and so on

Although it has used some lines from portal 2, it is still very good but if this was going to have a new version GLaDOS should move for example the hole eye model tightens up when she says "Oh I hate you!". but it is still shockingly good. and yes I know it is a lot of work but I believe it will make it a little bit more better and I don't know it was the video but when chell dies there is audio clip glitch. Lastly the cores around her (including wheatly yes I noticed) should slightly move with GLaDOS. It might seem I am nagging on about how to improve, I do like this mod very much but there I some places where it can be improved on.
