I’ve been bowling leauge not even 5 months now 2-handed, and I’ve been bowling almost 200’s. I recently scored 141 last week. You and Mike inspired me to find my own bowling style and to never give up. Thank you Mike and Forest for inspiring me to become a better bowler. Plus your vids spread joy and it makes the sport fun agian. 🙂

Congrats Forrest! I made a run for it last week. Threw the last 4 game 1, started front 9 game 2... threw it great, for a pocket 7-10 in the 10th lol. 266.

I have a really offbeat one: bsck in the '70s, league--can't hit the pocket to save my life, but swinging Brooklyn..9 Brooklyn in a row! 10th frame; I force the ball out to hit pocket (wah, wah!), up the snoot for big four. Moral: if it works, don't futz with it.

Back when I was in the Army stationed at Ft Bliss in El Paso, Texas, I had a dream one night where random people on the street were asking me what I was going to do when I got out of the Army. Not saying this to criticize, just to point out the differences. That would not be a 300 at my house (recently put in the AMF certified strings). All those light hits would leave 10s, 4s, 7s or even 4-10 splits. Those misses left that held the pocket likely would have carried.
220 needs to start 1 foot back from starting point. He always twists his sliding foot and causes his release to be inconsistent/swing it across his body. He is going to have massive knee pain and back pain in a few years.
