One of Donald Trump's supporters is Bill O'Reilly, who had defended Trump's statements about undocumented immigrants in the past. After defending trump, O'Reilly was again outraged at "left-wing smear merchants," this time Salon and Media Matters. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian (The Point) host The Young Turks. "Bill O’Reilly tonight continued railing against San Francisco politicians for being culpable in the death of Kate Steinle at the hands of an illegal immigrant. After showing video of Fox reporters confronting city supervisors, O’Reilly also said they’re being “aided by a compliant media.”

These people are literally attacking illegals because of one illegal killing one person. Does it matter you think he wouldn't have killed that person because he had a green card??? I lived in colorado i knew a lot if friends with illegal in their family... From my first hand experience these people just want a better life. None if them were rapist or part of the drug cartel.

How does it make you feel... when an illegal immigrant gets sick in our country, lets say they rack up 30k in medical bills. Who do you think pays for that? They basically get free healthcare while we pay for their medical bills in the way of taxes through social programs. This happens quite often especially with child delivery, which is their ultimate goal.

Hey Bill guess what? As a San Franciscan I am more than satisfied with my "ultra-left" government as you describe it. At least their policies are more nuanced and sensible than the policies you stand for.
Wow-O'Reilly sure painted a brief picture of the situation-the team just tried to contact them honestly and, when that didn't work, physically went over to them to just "ask questions."
O'Reilly made no mention of how long the camera crew went there, and how many minutes (or hours) of footage was necessary to obtain five-second clips of random, unsuspecting employees dismissing them.
I think that Talking Points is attempting to smear the supervisors by painting them as emotional and closed off to opposing opinions. It's a painful irony that he can't see the same in himself.
Standard protocol from O'Reilly: why bother addressing the issue when you can call them names, defame their character, and marginalize them.
Then your viewers don't have to bother thinking about things.
