Just what I need! My husband bought me the full set of all the colours for my birthday last year. I have played with them (the black gives a beautiful array of hints and is not a full black) I am so looking forward to your next tutorials on Brusho. Thank you for this one.
Well, aren't you a lucky girl!!! I hope I can come up with some fun ways to get you to break them out and create. Just got your Christmas card yesterday, thank you so much. You were right, I loved the Victorian letterbox.
I really enjoyed your cards and experiences with Brusho. I have played a little with mine and am inspired to do more when I get home. Thank you so much!
Haven't tried mine yet. I keep watchng the videos. Liked yours. Good job. I haven't ordered this set but I have every other butterfly set that SU has had. And, since I am more of a hobby demonstrator I don't get rid of mine. I have other demonstrator friends who don't keep everything!! Thanks for sharing!
This is probably one of the best videos I've seen recently on the Brushos, Suzanne! Beautifully presented! Appreciate all the samples you show and good to know "intense" isn't the only way to go! I'm hooked! Lol Thanks so very much!!!
I just found you when I was looking for tutorials on Brusho. I enjoyed your teaching style and the different perspective of coloring, brightness and alternative product usage. I have added you to my subscribe favorite list.
Loved the video on Brusho’s . Put it on my list to get this year. I know everyone will be ordering it Jan 2 so I’ll be waiting a bit, but it does look beautiful and fun to try! Thank you!
Excellent tutorial and I really enjoy your videos. Just a little tip from a watercolourist. The warm red in combination with the cool prussian blue does not produce a particular useful purple. Try it with 2 warm or 2 cool red and blues. The warm combination should give you a more pinkish purple and the cool ones a more blue based purple.
+roden70 Thank you so much for that info. Sadly, Stampin Up is only selling 5 colours so we are limited. It's not a bad purple actually. I don't mind it.
Hi Rebecca. I am not an art teacher but my favorite thing to do is share what I have learned from art teachers. I want everyone to feel like they can do this!
Hi there Deborah. I have poked the top with a push pin so after that was done, yes it is easy to tap out of the container. I believe that they are the same thing as "Colour Bursts" except Brusho's have been in existence in the art world for 35+ years, and they have close to 40 colours now. They come from the UK where "Color Bursts" from Ken Oliver are from the states. For all purposes, they are the same medium and work the same.
Thank you for this reply, SuNN! I have about 8 Color Bursts and haven't tried to use them yet as I had an accident and have been bedridden. I will pull them out and give them a try tomorrow on my Valentine's Day cards...I just subscribed to these videos as they are AWESOME!
Fine Su. FINE!! I will get the freakin' Brushos, lol! I didn't like the unpredictable quality of the Brusho Powders, but your video has shown me how beautiful they can be and how you can have a certain amount of control depending on the technique you use. Great video. Thank you for sharing and inspiring :)
Lol...Amy. Glad you were inspired. Yes only poke one hole in the top and use little at a time. One more tip: the higher up you spritz your water the more separated the colours will be. Spraying closer to the project will give you a more blended look. Best thing to do is experiment. :)
For an example you only have to look at the totally different purples in the bar of your own background screen. On the left the more pink and on the right the more blue purple. :-)
I really got away from card making for about a year. Watching your videos is getting me excited to get back at it. Thanks for sharing.
Oh wow Carrie. I am humbled to hear that. Thank you.
Hello from the UK. Only just purchased the brush inks and this demo is brilliant. Can’t wait to get started. TFS
Hope you enjoy it!

Best demo I've seen on the new SU Brusho's. Thank you.
+Linda Dodge Hey thanks so much for saying that.
Excellent tips, I also have seen "globs" of messy colors. Like this much better!! Did you fussy cut the butterfly and his antenna?
TFS
Yes, I did fussy cut 2 of the butterflies out. :)

What a terrific tutorial! Thank you!
Hey Becky. Glad you got something out of it. Thank YOU for commenting.
Do you use painters tape to hold down the paper? Loved your examples!
+Diane L'Arrivee Totally. The yellow kind. Frog tape it's called. Here in Canada I get it at a hardware store called Rona.
Best Brusho tutorial! TFS,📌🎨🦋
Yays!
Thank you for all the tips!
My pleasure Jerrie. Thanks for watching.

Wonderful video. I would be willing to try the product after watching your video. Thank you.
Hey Karen. Ya, I was a little worried when I keep seeing so much pigment get dumped on projects. This product is truly "less is more".
Great tutorial, they are a must have!
Yes yes! Give them a try.
Thanks for the water color lesson

I love your tutorial for this product....thank you
I am very pleased that you liked it. Thank you for saying so.
Hi, What is the difference in using the brushos to using your inks to watercolor with? thank you!
Brusho is brusho and ink is ink. Different mediums but one can use them very similarly.
Great tutorial. Thanks so much!
Woot woot! Thanks for watching Judy.
love love love your cards and what a fab video full of tips,
Hi Kim. Thank you for the kind comment. :)
Does the embossing paste have an odour to it? Thank you.
Yes it stinks.
Are the Brushos easy to tap out of the container? How are they different from Color Bursts? Thank you

A quick tip, if you want to keep them in a palette and use them as regular watercolors add a bit of gum arabic.
Oooo. I need to do some research it seems Pauladawn. Thank you!
I like this video 😍... Thanks 🙏🌺🦋🦋

Thank you for doing this video....very informative! Now I'm going to have to buy it 😀
Ya, I know...I suck. Lol.

+roden70 exactly. I hear you.
great ideas cannot start playing
I am pleased you think so Sue. Thanks for watching.
Danke für die Anregung es gibt noch mehr Möglichkeiten.
Agreed, I do think there are a lot of possibilities with this design.
