Thank you so much Sandy, I really really enjoyed watching you create all these beautiful and gorgeous pieces. I really really love ❤️ all of them. I have Brusho’s so it’s so interesting for me to see how they work in different ways. Your videos are really really awesome Sandy. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
I liked both of your flowers. I like that the Color Burst ones looked like poppies. I guess you can use one for one kind of flower and the other for another kind of flower. Interesting.
Sandy, you are awesome. When watching you, I can't seem too walk away. I have watched many videos as I am partially disabled and a card maker working toward more artistic options.
Beautiful cards Sandy. Brusho can fade as it dries, but I've found that if you spray it with hairspray afterwards the colours look slightly brighter again.
Thank you for showing us how to think out if the box. I was stuck on just sprinkling it on. I have been having fun with Primary Elements. I found out by playing. You cover a stencil with heavy medium, only. Next sprinkle on the powdered pigments. It spreads slowly and looks dimensional. I hope you try it. Thank you again for all you do.
Sandy, thanks for the comparison between the two powders. My son and his family are coming from Ireland (arriving tonight:)) to visit me in Canada, and he is bringing me my Brusho colors-can't wait to trry them! TFS
I like the way you are working more intentionally with these! I've been doing some experimenting with them too. I look forward to sharing. I look forward to seeing where you take it
I just found your videos and am so excited to find the comparison between Brushos and Colorburst watercolor powders. I just received my Brushos and I can't wait to follow your examples and produce my own painting. I hate wasting my supplies, so I look forward to using my "failed" water coloring projects to make backgrounds for cards. Thanks sooooo much!
Hi Sandy. Thanks so much for this series of videos. I have been playing with the colorbursts - I have the brights and the Caribbean are on their way and I just received my 24 set of Brusho. So nice to see what you have been doing with yours so I have more ideas as to what I can do with mine. I didn't realize that the 8 were entirely different colors so those are going on my wishlist. I'll be downloading your charts so super duper thanks for those. Thanks again. :)
Thanks for the comparison! I got the entire set of Brusho last year on a whim, but then the Color Burst were introduced and I wondered if I invested in the wrong product. Glad to know that the Brusho are the powders I would have chosen if I had a chance to compare the two before buying. Thank you very much :)
Great video. Thanks for showing the difference between the two. I just bought the Brusho colors. So, this was very informative. I am not an artist by any means so this should help me some.
I love this series of videos, thanks so much for sharing such great information! I recently bought 12 of the brusho colours and was kind of at a loss as to what to do with them. Now, thanks to your great tips I can't wait to go and play with them :)
I have the color burst and find so far the Yellow one comes out more "clumpy" than the others if you know what I mean I always get more than I need with the yellow. but they are cool to play with I like using a stencil then adding the powder and water.
Love the playing you did with these products! Love the affects also! One thing I would be worried about is the particles going in your nose and lungs. Not sure what that would do to a person like me who has asthma. Thanks for sharing.
Hello, great videos. Can you let me know what the "craft assistant" tray thing you use is actually called, I couldn't quite get it from your video. I've looked on Amazon and Ebay but nothing comes up. It could be because I am in UK but it should still be showing something. What make did you say it was? Thanks and love your work
Hi Sandy, let's say that I don't want to use these for the cool effects. How would you rate them as a watercolor and do you know if they are fade resistant? Thanks for the great videos.
I would rate them as really difficult if you were only going to use them in a palette. Lots less messy watercolors out there. I haven't let anything sit long enough to see if it fades but I'll test that!
I wonder what would have happened to the Colorburst "poppies" if you would have lifted the two corners and let the color run towards the center. I am thinking it would create a more organic look, and maintain the vibrant color
Sandy, I have to say that I can't see any problems with these "failures" at all! I suppose it's all relative anyway, but are you being too hard on yourself? It's just a thought...
Every artist gauges, what is a success or failure based on their own level. My own level says that these were not successes where they might be perfectly fine for other folks.
@@floradiamonds that’s what I mean-it’s not me being hard on myself. I’m assessing it from what I wanted. What I’m capable of. Not what others would be happy with as a result. 🙂

great comparison video! love the 'fails' too. TFS!
I love the way your tow failed experiments turned out. My favourite is the one with the red flowers that almost poppies and green-blue background.

The bottom left of the "hello" cards, remind me of poppies. It's absolutely gorgeous.. So kudos for your experiment. hehe

I loves this... I had never used either of these products..thank you for sharing..
Sandy I am loving all your watercolor techniques! I have watched lots and yours are by far the best I have seen! Please keep them coming!
Gorgeous use of this product Sandy ! Love the effects !
Thanks for doing these comparison videos. I want to get some watercolor powders and I now have enough information to know which one I should get.

great videos! I am debating between the two. It is hard to choose! Thanks

nice touch. my thought about the paper curling, is to tape it down?
Great demo, thanks
love your video. Like to learn more about brusho
Where canI purchase a color wheel, that explains complimentary and contrast?
Sandy, thank you for your tutorials!

It's usually the yellow that does it to me, but sometimes the red too. And the purple-lol.

Nice job. I like the Brusho better

+101curlywurly it's only available at Ellen Hutson...

They run like mad and lose all shape if you do that. They like to scamper :)
color burst has a poppy like look
Do you seal your cards with anything before you use them as cards?
Nope! :)
What heart stamp did you use and color?
This was made in 2015, it’s no longer available. Sorry!
Hi! Are brusho lightfast, do you know? Thsnks!
Hmm my gut says no but I’m not sure.
Will this behave differently on a higher grade paper?
Everything works better on better paper. 👍🏻
I hadn't heard of water colour powder before, so now i'm intruiged...
Could I find this on Amazon or something? (Doesn't matter for brand as a tester)
MisaMisa also at about 8:50 - the flower you 'ruined' reminded me of a poppy :)
There are links in the description.
Failed experiment Very beautiful
