Maybe. The real question is, will I get myself in trouble by doing that lol. I'll try to keep that in mind because given time, I might feel confident enough to film a self-load test. (Maybe another milestone video down the road)
@@CDROM-lq9iz Just make sure everything is kosher! Don't need to be left holding the bag for a leaky water jumper or other mishaps as a result of stressing the engine without being expressly told to... 😬 It's all about transfer of liability!
@@heavy-iron Must be a 567 thing lol. We self load locomotives all the time to look for all sorts of electrical or mechanical faults and I don't think I've ever had one fail during a load test. (Unless a crew had already reported it and we were trying to replicate it.) If I'm feeling frisky down the road, I might film a self-load test after we fixed an issue.
Thank you for taking the time to do this video and thank you to the person who asked... Never got to see these in action and I always wanted to.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for this! A lot of questions answered in one concise video.
@heavy-iron I was waiting for your comment lol. Glad it gave you what you wanted.
Is it possible to show how you do a load test? Love seeing those cards work!

@@CDROM-lq9izthat would be wise. You could make an unlisted video and charge a certain amount to view it
@@CreamyPennePasta not sure if I'd pay wall it. Time will tell if/when/what exactly happens.
