Wow, Every summer when me and my wife visit her village, I always feel like the first American to ever be there. Ive never been treated with so much hospitality in my entire life. I was married there and baptized Serb Orthodox as well as my eldest daughter. On July 16th my youngest daughter is having her baptism followed by a huge party. If you are still in Serbia, you are welcome to partake in it. The village is called Grabovica, on the Danube river close to Kladovo. Not to far from Nis.
Hey Cather , how are u? I realy like your videos,but u realy need to come in Leskovac, small city under the Nis. Thats is one of the oldest city.+ Girl's in Leskovac are most beautiful in Serbia. U should come trust me :) And asc your friend's for "rostiljada" about 500 000 tourist come for "rostilj meat" .
It would be great to have another American there, plus we can show you a regional culture called Vlaski, which my wife also speaks. Just get in contact with me and let me know. Summer time in the villages are amazing, everyone comes back home after working in Germany, Sweden, Austria, and Denmark. Will be there for 3 weeks. -Schneider
Charles, as an American I do think you are funded by the US government in some form. As someone who loves the ex-Yugoslavian nations also, they are individuals who love their individuality. In the 1990s the US government referred to them as isolationist, and they are not, they are people who love people but treasure their individuality.
