For those who are wondering why she killed her own father, it was because he was an extremely abusive pos to her and she hated his guts to death. She saw the opportunity to take revenge for all the abuse she endured since childhood and took it. 💀
I figured that it was something like that because of how depressed she looked in the picture and the fact that she didn't scream or try to help him, she obviously had a lot of pent up anger towards him.

Since someone already recommended Alchemy of Souls, I will recommend Extraordinary You. He's only the second lead here but in my opinion his acting was the best among the cast along with the female lead. His performance in this show made me a fan of him.

This movie was so good. The history and chemistry between these characters was excellent. We need Wook in more dark roles.
He’s such a great actor and so young !? Like I was so surprised to find out that he’s 24, but even younger when he filmed his other roles.
Wookie can appear in anything for even just 1 minute and still he would be the main character and steal the whole thing just like that.

This was really good clip and a pretty good movie, I just wish they made an epilogue, or more scenes from when she was a child, like how she rose up in the company becoming the best killer, seeing more scenes with him younger bringing her in as a teen, 😊

This looks like a very interesting drama. Love how cool and calm the daughter is. Wonder what her life was life living with her Dad that she pushed the chair away. Instinct of survival. Jail Wook awesome as an assassin.
Her father was extremely conservative and abusive. He beat her blue then made her swallow a cigarette after he found out she'd been smoking. And that was just the one instance we saw. Needless to say I was smiling after his death too

i can admit i never gave much thought or credit to movies outside america. i was ignorant to some very good acting and storytelling. this is seriously one of the best movies i have seen in a long time
I'd watch movies outside of America just not much, I underestimated K-dramas specifically A LOT until I saw Alchemy of Souls out of all the probably over a HUNDRED of shows I've watched in my life it was the best show I've ever seen.
