The Longbow is a very old Mech predating the Star League. It was commissioned by the Free Worlds League who desired a Mech similar to the Archer.
Armed with an unprecedented amount of LRMs, the Longbow is a sort of "big brother" to the Archer, filling the air with with 50 missiles with plenty of armor, ammo and heatsinks to maintain the barrage.
The Longbow does have its weaknesses however. It mounts a mere 2 medium lasers for defense meaning even light Mechs can outgun it if they can get close enough to jam the Mech's LRMs.

I have been looking forward to this one. Looks like a similar setup that I tried. I was a bit disappointed in this mech. I am sure if the AI was actually smart it would perform better, but since I do not prefer to pilot these it does not work out well for me.
That being said it is a great video, I do really like how you do these.
I'm going to try the like LRM60 or LRM80 build eventually.

Yes, that's just what I wanted. I know people tend to dislike feeling powerless with full LRM builds since the AI focuses on the player's Mech.
@GitGudFox especially as beginner players might not know how to protect a dedicated lrm boat

Stalker vs Longbow? What is better for which Job. I think the Longbow is a damn good Missleboat but have mostly only Missle. He is also weak in Armor. The Stalker is more diffrent in terms of laser and Missle
All Mechs should have the same armor based on their weight. They have the same armor maxes to be more specific based on their max weight.
The Stalker is probably better than the Longbow since it can fight up close more effectively.

Just out of curiosity, what about just replacing the M Lasers for M Laser- SB's? or would that be considered advanced?
You can do that. It'd be a matter of personal preference. There are differences between ML and ML-SB, but they require a lot of use to feel them.
