Ahhhh my mid 80's memories flooding back. Use to love racing the "Can-Am" cars as they were called at the time around that track as a 11/12/13 year old. The pirate ship of course was stationed in the area that is now a grass patch in the middle of the go cart track...use to love those Can-Am cars, pirate ship, log flume, corkscrew coaster...but Ive been in Brisbane for almost 20 years now and we annual passes for the Gold Coast theme parks

Good little theme park, a lot of those rides look like the ones at dreamworld like the Claw and shock wave and the Giant Drop.
Yeah - to me, it's between an Aussie World & Dreamworld type of park
I wish the gold coaster could be smooth lick there coaster I remember when I rode the gold coaster and it is way to Ruth to enjoy

Thanks mate. Yeah, I actually recently watched your Rainbows End videos, and there have been a few changes. Yeah. A much more modern, faster coaster would be great! It's still a cool little park though!

What happened to the first coach because that looks like an old Arrow Dynamics custom loop corkscrew coaster, which has seven coaches per train. The head or first coach on all their coasters look more longer and more streamlined, with the logo on the hood, where the fist coach or car on this coaster only has 6 coaches, which leads me to believe that the head coach was damaged beyond repair that it wouldn't make it safe or structurally feasible to operate the entire train. And lastly, this track layout looks like the old Rocky Point amusement park corkscrew coaster before the park went out of business and was sold to another park in Seattle.
I was thinking the same - it was definitely missing!
@@JaggsJourneys I saw two other videos at this same theme park, with the head coach attached to the train, which looks (including the colors and color pattern(red body, white stripe and black underface)) like the corkscrew coaster that was once Rocky Point amusement park's ride, which is now defunct, which I had mentioned in the previous response. I don't know how old you did this video or when the 2 other videos with the coaster was filmed, to get an accurate account of when the head coach was taken off the train.

Nice one Shane. My 1980s childhood memories brought back via a video been years since I have been but looks cool, shame you couldn't make it on the log flume that was the park highlight! Might have to check it out when back in Auckland at the end of the year. Hopefully the weather is better than you had.

Go pro with chest mount. I had to get permission and camera checks before I could use it as well.

A very decent theme park but New Zealand has far better experiences around the country that are not theme parks.
