hey if he ever got back to you about the lap steel stuff for beginners I'd apriciate if you could let me know what a good quality one he recommended is but fairly inexpensive not cheap inexpensive
I'm a new eletric guitar player (just bought my lap steel). which pedals do i need to buy? which are the most essential for a begginner that will play western swings on C6 tuning? Clean Booster pedals? Reverb pedal? Tremolo pedal? Pedal equalizer? Delay pedal???
Lap steel is hard to find good lessons for. There are a million and one ways to learn the theory elsewhere. I think it would be unfortunate if he reduced the theory. It's core to understanding what you are playing (instead of just teaching us a few licks). Kind of like "Give a man a fish, he will eat for the day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for all his life".
I think your lessons are good, if you can reduce the theory. I know very little theory. I mainly watch your finger movements and learn . I learn by ear. If you play a simple song I can pick it up. I need to learn how you finger picks Thanks
I'm here learning today baby. Thank you
You make it look so easy!
I love you lessons for the steel guitar. Do you have any suggestions of what brand or quality I need to start with and pricing?

Does your amp have reverb?
@@LessonsWithTroy i need to buy yet. Nice to know, I will look for an amp with the reverb within. Tks!
no pedals, maybe a compressor if you already have one. focus on learning the instrument and not trying to get the sound with electronics.

It appears that the bar is in the space and not right on the line as taught elsewhere, or that just an illusion of the angle of the video?
Yes
alguem poderia legendar para o portugues certamente este video ficaria interesante para o dobro de pessoas
I object, increase the theory. It's not that hard to learn the basics
