    The funny thing is that non sold out resorts have very low price increases. That is all 3. RIV, CCV and AUL.

    Jerry’s observation is exactly what I noticed. Disney didn’t raise dues on properties they are actively selling nearly as much as the others. It would make them less attractive to new buyers. Once they sell out, I bet their dues will increase much more.

    Knowing homeowners in Hilton Head (not DVC), insurance has gone up a ton in the last 5 years. A hurricane doesn’t have to make direct landfall to cause damage on the island due to the low lying area and water running throughout. Plus the landscape and weather there leads to serious issues with buildings year round. It doesn’t surprise me one bit that those dues increased.
