Such a great list! I would only add a couple. Make sure to get some ride photos. My family LOVES to go back and look at them. Another thing we tried is taking videos while we're there and I watch them all constantly with a giant grin on my face.
As a kid I always somehow missed the walkthrough Diorama thing in the castle, and I'm super bummed about that. I've seen videos of it since and it's pretty charming. Love the art and the lighting. Worth a look!
We'er going next WEEK!!! This is going to be a multi generational trip. Everyones homework for the past two months has been to watch your videos and make lists. We've sat down and shared our lists, each picking a number one must do, eat, or see and a number two choice as a backup. Thank you for all your tips and advice! We even booked one of your recommended hotels across the street from Disney. (On property was definitely too high for our budget). Everyone is so excited! Thank you for all the advice.
I let you know in the last video that im going for the first time at the end of the month ! 😆 Im going with a group of friends and we’ve all never been! We’re most excited for World of Colors🥳 (and the food of course😂)
We just finished an awesome trip to Disneyland/CA Adventure and we were able to complete nearly everything on your list. We added a first time meal at the Blue Bayou and some run around time on Tom Sawyer’s (Pirate Lair) Island in between Lighting Lane reservations to our trip, which was really great. If the Adventureland Treehouse wasn’t under remodel, we would have done that too.
They're kinda neat to use to scan in for lightning lanes and they light up for the nighttime shows, but otherwise they don't do much. So no, they're not necessary unless you really want them.
right is old star wars area, left is adventureland, straight is fantasy land and new star wars area, just ask, old timer disney folks love to share with the new disney folks
rope drop is great, my daughter, granddaughter and me went on 20 rides before noon.
Hitting the rope drop is a must. Much quicker lines the first few hours to hit as many rides as possible.
Amen! 🎉
Churro is on my list!
Great choice!
our tradition is get a churro after the haunted mansion since there is a churro cart there
pin trading is fun too
Disneyland Railroad a.k.a The Grand Circle Tour

Great additions! We love looking at ride photos, especially after we figured out the camera places and started posing for each one of them.
main street has great things too, rides are great but main street has many hidden gems,
Yes, true!🎉
Great list! Thanks.
Thanks for watching!🎉

A very hidden little secret! I walked past it so many times before I realized it was there!

That sounds really fun. Is it anyone's first time?
Thank you so much for watching! I'm glad we were able to help out. Now, all that's left to do is for you to have an amazing trip!
Awesome. Good list, concise and easy to follow. We can't wait to surprise our kids with the trip we're planning!
I love surprises! Have fun with it!

@@RTDAdventures thank you !!

Great video, great list
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I wonder, if my last visit was in 1997, could I claim a first visit button in 2023? 🤔 After all, the park has changed immensely and another added.
Maybe? Lol, give it a try and see what they think!
@@RTDAdventures I may leave it for my birthday. As I will be celebrating this at Disneyland.
😊🎂🎁🎈🎉🕯🍰. 😊
We are taking the grandkids in April, do we need to get Magic Bands??

Is there a place to get pins in dca, like city hall?
Do you mean trading pins or celebration buttons? You can find both in DCA. Just like in Disneyland, they are both available in a variety of locations.
@@RTDAdventures the celebration buttons, we’re starting our vacation in DCA for two days then Disneyland for the other two (:
Do you go left or right after rope drop?
Depends on what rides you want to do. There really isn't a wrong answer if you know what you're trying to accomplish.
