Thank you Jeremy and your devoted heart to God served at IHOPKC for all these year and we met in 2019 the last OneThing conference. Because of you and your wife’s obedience and many other team served diligently when I visited IHOPKC in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019…truly IHOPKC influences many of us to love God more and to sining the word of God from the Bible culture! Many thanks and appreciated IHOPKC! Abundant blessings to you and your wife with great future ahead and have a good rest as it is important for a good start! Cheers in Him!
Thank you so much brother for letting God use you and use your talents. I pray that God will guide you and help you to take a wise decision for His goory in Jesus name. And as the saying goes: "where God guides, He provides". " Get the degree or get the drum "
Keep the fire burning🔥🔥🔥 Regardless of what all the negative and dark that has happened in IHOPK, I believe that God has been, is and will be behind the movement. This is the reason why IHOPK came this far. The Spirit of the Lord is on the mist of the ministry. Do what the Lord wants you to do. Go where he is leading you because at the end we all going to have to give and accountant to Jesus of what we did with our lives and all that He paid for on the cross. God bless you!!!
Met you briefly 7 years ago at IHOP, after I had been following your electronic music on Soundcloud before that. Had totally forgotten you existed until UA-cam randomly recommended this video! Praying that God will guide you in this next season! Glad to see you're still going strong towards the Lord!
I love your approach and transparency and your faithfulness to follow God's heart and his purpose for you! I pray for God's clarity and direction for you and your wife!
Jeremy, thanks for sharing your heart. I know this is a very difficult intense season. I’m not sure if we met before but I help Mike Pioneer the house of prayer and was the harp and bowl trainer and was there from 1998 to 2012 I know not having finances is a challenge I’ve been there before, but I also know that you’ve got a calling and worship for the house of prayer. During this time, as you’re waiting on the Lord, I believe God could give you some creative ideas to bring in income. God will make away. Take care. Mike Brumback.
Praying for you brother. I'm praying for you, your bride, your team, and of course all the victims of this tragedy. God bless, provide, and heal the wounded hearts and souls.
Thank you God for this report that you are not jaded - my heart has been so concerned and this is a great report to hear-- you all are loved and cared for ❤God is faithful
God Bless you in this next step of your journey, Brother. This is what most of us go through when we are considering leaving. I was at IHOP for 7 years and facing a future of looking at jobs or pressing further into ministry is hard. I can absolutely say our Father will provide for you and your team even if it is not in ways that you expected. Thank you for serving and loving Jesus through the years that you were there and not being jaded in this season. Excited to see how the Lord will come through in your behalf.
This is a moment of faith for every believer. This moment is for us to believe God , putting our trust in Him, knowing that all flesh is as grass. Not judging anyone , knowing no one is our server or servant, all our brethren are Gods servants, not ours to judge. Humans make mistakes, not just once , but continuously. We are broken while being beautiful in His sight. It’s the time to believe that Gods mercy endures forever and stand with our family.
Thank you for this video Jeremy - I am in Australia and have been part of the ihopkc family globally from day one probably...many many years. It has been a hard season for me, so I can only imagine how tough for you living there. I have only visited once in 2011 for 3 weeks and it was such a wonderful glorious season of my life...I will pray about support - I am supporting another worship family at ihopkc - will ask Abba for direction. Bless you brother and thank you again for your honesty, heart of love for Jesus and His people and for your worship x x
Prayers for everyone at IHOPKC You have been such a God send with your 24/7 worship. I'm praying that they will continue in a healthy and accountable manner You have been such a blessing
hi there. This came up.in my feed since ive been watcging interviews about whats happening at IHOP K C. Your persobal video will inform my prayers. May God bless ypu and guide you.
I appreciate everything you guys have done over the years. I saw a set with you and Lauren that blew me away and honestly helped get me hooked into watching the prayer room online a ton. You guys inspire me to play and lead worship better. I’ll admit I listen more at night, so I haven’t seen you a ton, but I’ve seen you a bunch. I’m sad the worship school (and other parts of IHOP) is closing. I often imagined myself learning and being involved there. I think it’s great that some of you are sticking around. Who knows what God has in store? Maybe you could start your own worship/music school? Either way I’ll pray for finances and direction to come. God bless you guys!
Thank you for sharing! Crazy to think that something very similar is happening with me and a ministry/school I work in. My last day is graduation. Been part of that ministry for 9 years where I also went to school.
Jeremy! I'm another brother out here that has immensely enjoyed your worship sets! I just want to say that it's hard to pack into this comments section all that I'd like to say, so suffice to say that I am indeed praying for you. I understand the road ahead is uncertain, but JESUS is ALWAYS certain! It's obvious who you live for brother. No doubt! Same goes for others there at IHOPKC!
Brother - I really can’t express enough how thankful I am to be doing what I’m doing and it fills me with so much joy that it blesses others and is unto the benefit of others. Thank you for praying, my wife and I need it and appreciate your encouragement
Much love Jeremy. 12 years is a long time. It’s a shame IHOP leadership didn’t properly steward the actual burning and shining lamps that kept the flame lit. Instead they prioritized the ministry above great people like yourself and many of our mutual friends. We need more Jer. 3:15 leaders and less Eze. 34 leadership. Praying for you brother. I’m confident the Lord’s got your back!
I’m praying for your time of rest. It sounds like you’re probably about three weeks from ending it if you were planning on taking all of June. I remember seeing you around throughout the years and your gift from music. I pray that you find a good counselor as well. It sounds like you’re asking the right questions without allowing emotions, history, alliances, or what feels good to necessarily lead you. I think those are wonderful things and I hope that you will share some of your conclusions at the end of your rest. After you know what direction you will be headed. :-)
Also, we own a business here in Kansas City and are connected with several other business owners. If anyone from your team would like a short term job or opportunity to make some extra money, we would be happy to extend that to help alleviate some of the financial hardship.
Fun fact, those who left before you didn't leave jaded, angry, or offended either - those labels were just slapped on us to ensure no one would hear our voices. It is very telling that you have to make this clarification, and evidences how liberally those labels are placed on people. I was pushed out and left brokenhearted, because I loved the HOP and saw that she was going to get herself shut down if she did not change to become more healthy, and I was mourning the choice to push me out because it made it apparent that those changes would not be made and she would get herself shut down within a decade. My last set on staff was about 8 years to the week before when yours will be. I had spent the years leading up to that set pleading with my leaders to hear the cries of those leaving hurt, because it was apparent that the harms caused would come back upon the house in a way that would one day destroy her. Good luck with your next steps, Jeremy.
Hey thanks for the comment, genuinely sorry that happened to you. I’ve not ever experienced a narrative of leaders calling people that left “jaded, offended, bitter” or anything, even in subtext. But if you have, I’m sorry! I can’t apologize for leaders that didn’t shepherd well, nor will I defend them! They’ll stand before the Lord for what they do and say.
@@JeremyJamesWhitaker I appreciate this response. Was worried you'd delete my comment, this is far better than I expected. I'm in Scottsdale, so feel free to hit me up if you're ever visiting home and I'd love to grab coffee (or a beer or whatever) and get to know you a little better face to face, if you'd be up for it. Like, I know we saw one another in passing plenty, and have interacted plenty on ye olde socials. But offering the human interaction if you're willing/open. Truly hope things go well for every one of you who are facing a, how do they put it - new season of transition
I really appreciate you saying that you need therapy. I believe therapy/counseling is a necessary but missing piece in the Christian life. Thanks for the video. Praying for you and those that follow you.
Keep the fire burning and keep your heart clean of bitterness and resentment....our battle's not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, the rulers of the darkness in this world, against the spiritual wickedness in high places.....satan is our enemy....no one who's served at IHOP or IHOPU is the culprit, regardless of what you believe, these attacks have been orchestrated by the pits of hell.
For me, as a person who attended four Onething events in KC, I was not shocked by the news of these scandals. It does, however, for me depreciate the message of Mike Bickle and Misty Edwards. These people preached total surrender and abandonment to God while they were having sexual affairs, and they were supposed to be role models for so many of the young generation while living in complete sin. Moving forward, we must not listen to what man says, but what the word says, and model our lives on the character of Jesus, and not the flaws of leadership.
You are speaking words of wisdom. IHOPKC is spiritually, speaking, in some very serious trouble and I think it is wise to seek another stable venue where God can bless you. God bless you in your new relationship!
Jeremy, Thank you for making this video. I love your heart that is so transparent and pure. I know your life must feel like a nuclear bomb has shattered your life but you radiate a peace and lack of bitterness which is different from the spirit is see in others who have been wounded by the recent events at I HOP. My wife and I were at the first service when Mike came back to KC to start the then South Kansas City Fellowship. We remained and left as I Hop was just getting started because of a move. I would love to talk with you about some things from our experience and maybe have some ideas to help you in the new season and opportunities that lay ahead for you . I will send you an e mail. Blessings 🙏
Seems like the people who wanted to do that are good. Maybe you can stay in touch with the people who lead worship like that. God needs people to be able to lead worship like that.
If the disciples were not persecuted in their homeland, they would have stayed where it was comfortable and never would the church have spread so far across the falling Empire of Rome. The flame burns with greater ferocity when it is free to roam away from the hearth
IHOPKC should be investigated fully snd shut totally down. You and your family need to continue your journey elsewhere. The Lord will help you and the sincere ones
It’s not a matter if they care for their staff as much as the fact that the staff choose to stay themselves, ultimately feeling overworked because of their own decisions
What would have been the plan for IHOP if Mike Bickle would have died? Is there no plan in place for going forward? Surely this is a bad thing but it is not infection to every pure soul in ministry? Who was supposed to step up? Who was appointed in place? Maybe the real sin is that everyone put too much in one man and were not putting any Joshua's in place? Come on this is God's ministry!
We all have hard difficulty in our finances. Most of us have regular jobs 2 or 3 to make ends meet. I feel like IHOPKC dug itself into this pit and took with it all of you folks, and it appears that instead of analyzing what truly is wrong with your organization, you're all rebranding and reorganizing and some of you asking for money. Sorry, but no. I can prat for you, and for God to show you the way out of that organization and its terrible theology.
@michaelacabreana7529 Well, the many complaints I hear from IHOPKC people about depending on their ministry and church income, and asking around for money.
You need to walk away and find a church like an Assembly of God church that has a lot of accountability for their leaders!! IHOP failed to form an independent counsel to investigate the allegations and give the women help from being abused!! There has been no accountability only accusations against the women! The leaders that quit the moved on made the best decision since the top leader refused to do the Right thing!! Find a church where you can minister to a lot of people with accountability! I wouldn’t trust any leader at IHOP right now because there is no accountability!

No one should ignore the “fruit” that has been made manifest in Mike Mickle. The fruit is how a believer is to discern a “tree”.
Nope it’s part of the NAR heresy new form of Gnosticism
