Thank you! It will be very helpful for a pilot like me! I did my training in Boundary Bay and Pitt Meadows, BC. I've been instructing and now just hitting 750 hours, currently training for multi and multi ifr rating to get in the hiring pool. It will be very much appreciated :0
That’s great, boundary bay is where I did my training as well 👍🏻. It will take me sometime to make that episode, so in the meantime if you guys need faster help I offer 1 on 1 coaching and can help with career strategy, how exactly to look for pilot jobs, writing a good resume, and interview prep. Its a small fee but can save you a lot of time and money in the long run. You can connect with me through Magnifi: kp34c.app.goo.gl/kY4aYhPaFD8jBWwYA
I was given a cheap generic bag by the company, it's a small regional airline in Asia so no fancy accessories. I've always drooled over the leather bags at the Aviation World in Toronto, maybe one day tho..
Haha yah lots of bags to drool over, but sometimes the problem is that the company doesn’t let you use your own bag and you have to use their crappy one. Oh well 🤷🏼♂️
Awesome video Sir! You got a sub more (: I was looking for a gift idea for a helicopter enthusiast who now during the pandemic is held up playing the microsoft flight simular. Thinking about getting him the kneeboard for added immersion. Greetings from Germany Captain!
Hello, I'm 13 from Canada, and I aspire to be a pilot one day. I know it's very early, but I'm doing my research and I do understand both the negative and positives aspects. Your salary video really showed how many stages there are. I just wanted to let you know that your videos are great :) and informative. I have *many* questions, but here are some of them. Approximately how much is the student debt in CAD (Ik it can vary)? Also, is it necessary to get a PPL? What exactly is the difference between the regional and the majors. What is a frozen ATPL? Also, what subjects should I focus on? Ik math and physics are important. Besides research Is there anything else I can do right now? Thanks in advance! Sorry for all the questions, I just love aviation!
Thanks for the great feedback and good job on the research! My Learn to Fly playlist covers costs and other topics if you want to watch through that. Yes you need a PPL. Regionals fly smaller planes, do short hops and make less money. Frozen ATPL is where you write it in college and then just need the hours to get the license. Having good grades in school overall is important to give you more options in life, you have many years left before you have to commit to this career or choose another, or a combination of careers. Good luck!
@@AviatorInspirations Thanks for responding very quickly! I will definitely check the playlist. Thanks for answering my questions. I know there's still a long way to go! Also, do you fly a large aircraft (like Boeing or Airbus). If so, which one?
@@AviatorInspirations So I've been considering a pilot program through a university, that would be better than a private program correct? I got a class one but sometimes I don't get 20/20 correct in one of my eyes. Should I worry about a different medical examiner denying me in the future? I have food allergies, will I be able to travel as a pilot? Is being a flight instructor a good option after flight school so I don't have to pay for flight hours? What is home life like as a pilot? How so I know if it's right for me? (I've done a discovery flight)
University program is only better if you want a diploma, otherwise the flight training is the same. 20/20 vision is no longer necessary, you can have bad eyes and still be a pilot. Allergies I’m not sure, depends what kind. If you tell your crew you have allergies and not to eat certain foods around you. But then you have to pack your own meals if you don’t have diet friendly restaurants near hotels. Home life is my next episode, stay tuned! You know it’s right for you if you know what to expect, have a game plan for your career, and prepare of the sacrifices you have to make. For some, the sacrifices are not worth it. Also depends on what country you want to fly. There are many options for career paths in aviation.
@@AviatorInspirations I want to fly in the United States only. My allergies don't cause anaphylaxis, but I do have something called Eosinophilic Esophagitis. When I eat the trigger foods my esophagus becomes inflamed. I can pack my food or go to a grocery store to eat
Sir ,though I am not a professional music maker, I was inspired by you and capt joe to become pilot and made a music that replicates a journey in flight....I would be extremely proud if I am able to send that music to you...could you provide your gmail ? pls remember ,i am not professional but I did the music purely through passion...

a leather flight bag would be nice, with Bose's new headset inside :D
I haven’t found a bag I really like yet, but yes, that’s a wicked combo! What bag are you using right now?

Can you do a video about category 1 medical in canada?
Yes, I’ll put it on my list👍🏻
Great job! I think this provides thorough explanation and ideas on items to purchase for anyone who has a pilot in their life! #VRA
Thanks Lauren for taking the time comment!
Of course!!!!!! ❤️

Have a look through my channel and see if you can figure it out 😉
May I ask you some questions? I may be entering a flight school within 10 months
That’s awesome! What’s your question?

@@AviatorInspirations Also, recently the FAA made is so if you have a bachelor's degree you only need 1,000 flight hours instead of 1,500.
what about glasses?!
I need help my partner (student pilot) he loves glasses but I'm unsure if theres a type of eye wear for pilots 😅😁
Pilots are allowed to wear glasses, as long as the vision is corrected to 20/20 there are no issues
