the reason they were just standing there while she was having the “seizure” was bc she always used to do that. whenever she wasn’t getting her way, wanted attention, etc. kitty would fake pass out or seize. it was her way of controlling and getting attention
As someone who’s been sexually assaulted by their own uncle I never thought about passing down the torch onto my future kids. Generational trauma is so so horrible and normalized and I’m glad so many kids who experience it can turn their selves around and get through/ past it. I hate that this show is trying to make the parents seem like these saints or parents that had horrible children when you teach your kids certain behaviors and they pick up off of it. This is one of the saddest cases I’ve ever heard. I’ll never forgive kitty and Jose
@@nikrixxx6338 thank you! I appreciate it. It happened when I was abt 12/13 and had no sense of what sex actually was. He had done it to other girls too

Heartbreaking that the people who should protect you with their lives, are the ones who can hurt their own children. I have seen so many tragedies like this.
The amount of yelling and screaming the actors playing the brothers have done so far….Im pretty sure they’ve given themselves migraines after leaving the set😂😂
Its good they show how shitty the parents were but with how they really were especially the mother, it made them look like saints. Its disgusting how the dad lived through the kids and she was jealous that erik especially was getting so much attention when he was raping him! Both absolutely sick. Its a shame they didnt have normal parents. I thought showing what José did was interesting as many forget he was in the music industry. He scares me whenever i see photos of him, wnd javier bardem, my god i cant see him the same.
I were sexually assaulted as a kid (not by family) and emotionally abused by my mother my whole upbringing. During recent years I learned that she herself was sexually abused by family as a kid. Which explains somewhat her emotional abuse of me. I have always said that I don't want kids and I think that is partially because I never want any kid to go through the trauma I went through. Until I'm in place where I know I will be a good mother I will not have kids. I'm only 27, I got time.
Did you notice there’s some scenes that don’t line up with how the boys told it? The shooting, the school suspension, the will argument, and several others
Yeah because this the creators pretty much asked everyone around the case perspective except for the actual brothers perspective and it’s also a drama so they playing some things up like lyles anger issues are played up when apparently he was actually quite shy and withdrawn
@@lamilkman1796 I know the actors met with them. I’m ok with the creators not meeting with them if that’s true, and just letting the facts speak for themselves.

kitty never wanted kids. from the time she was pregnant with lyle she was telling everyone she didn’t want him and when he was 6 weeks old she tried to give him to his grandparents (jose’s parents) to raise and said that her and jose would come and visit when they went on their trips to and from the ski lodge

I love you guys and your channel. I would recommend after finishing the show watching the documentary that came out on Monday about the brothers or doing a reaction on it because it’s a really good documentary.
Maybe in a way it is but personally what I took away from this episode was that in order to break that generational circle of trauma and abuse in the family the boys did what needed to be done. Like cutting away a piece of cancer so that the organ can live on. Even though it wasn’t pretty you can’t blame them because there was simply no other way around their dad.
A little, but it’s also meant to show you that the stories aren’t lining up in a few ways. There’s several scenes that are wildly different from how the boys tell them.
@@acoop9865 The show is supposed to have been combination of people's opinions or versions of what happened. It doesn't mean what the brothers said isn't the truth. @@RescuePitties46 yeah I mean that’s pretty much my point exactly lol. But you are definitely meant to have some doubt about the boys’ story. There have been observed situations where a father is SA the kids and physically and smeshually R-ing the wife and for some reason the wife’s mind sorta fractures and copes by triangulating the kids and becoming jealous that they are stealing the attention and romance away from her. It’s really sick and very tragic, but not unheard of sadly. I’ve also known really rich couples where the wife’s contractual monthly allowance can be doubled if she weighs in monthly at a specific weight. It’s a really forked up situation.

all the scenes where the brothers stand up for themselves or argue back with their parents are apparently not accurate at all. erik especially testified in court that you just did not disagree with their dad, which is why it was such a big deal when lyle went to have that conversation with their father after erik confided in him. everyone around jose menendez also have confirmed that he had a massive presence and a strong personality, so his children were definitely not picking fights with him as implied in the show.
