There is something visible about the motion associated with wind and water turbines that captures the imagination of the would-be eco-warrior. You can see it working so it must be. From the colour on that failed bracket it looks like it had started to fail a long time ago and the recent wind finished it off.
Hi, first question is the average wind speed , it needs to be above 8 mts / second. As I say turbines are expensive but I'm thinking the further north (or south) you go the longer the winter and shorter the day lengths. Here in Lincolnshire if I was to start again it would be solar and loads of it. Cheers
