love your attitude. I am Australian but spent a lot of time in NW Pa (near Erie). Worked with a brilliant osteopath there many moons ago. I used to love buying fresh stuff at farmer roadside stalls - peaches, corn, string beans, etc. was really good quality stuff.....better than loblaws etc.
I am also plant based whole food. The science is pretty compelling on it now. thanks for your vid. you seem really content in life.

Why is it taking so long for some of my lettuce to sprout? One strip of it is already in but the other two strips are taking a long time.

Make sure that you keep the seeds moist during the germination period...There also may be a different variety of lettuce in there which might take a little bit longer to grow...Be patient… hopefully they will all germinate and develop into a mature plant! One thing I have certainly learned is that gardening is full of trials and errors! Thanks for stopping by and sharing and I hope you have a bountiful garden season!

Hello, can you tell me why my lettuce is wilting in the sun??? My burpee lettuce Giant Caesar says full sun. It is in a raised bed in full sun but after a few hours from morning sun my lettuce wilts and lays???? What’s going on with this... ANYONE???

Hi Lauren… I would make sure you are giving your plants enough water…lettuce could be watered every day…Make sure you have enough compost in your soil so it retains soil moisture…You could also add a shade cloth over your plants if they cannot tolerate a large amount of sun and heat. I hope this helps!

Plant-Smart Living w/ Farmer Fred thanks. I have been watering it everyday. Was worried I may be over watering as this is my first time planting anything. I used organic soil for raised beds and so far so good everything I plant grows but since it’s only about three weeks in I’m still learning how to grow my own food and hope I’m doing things good and right. I did notice that when I move my boxes to shade the lettuce stands up again after 30 minutes. Why does the package say full sun 6+ hours or more but it seems to only do well in sun for about 3 hours ??? Thanks for your videos I’m learning a lot.
