I Sow Carrot Seeds On Kitchen Paper, Grow Really I Use A Thin Stick Wet The End To Pick Them Up, Takes Time, But I'm Not Paying Out Any Extra. Have Good Success Rate.

Well done for the first time doing them. Few tips, separate them first then unfurl to measure and cut, it's easier. Water, you have the right idea with the trickle hose before laying the strips, however, once you've played them down you can change back to the sprinkle hose before covering with soil and watering again 😉😁🌱🐛☀️

Tony, for many years I have sown tomatoes harvested from the previous year using toilet paper. I cut the tomato in half and then massage the seeds out onto 3 sheets of toilet roll and spread carefully. The trick is to label the sheets with pencil so you know what they are 6 months later!

Have used a variety of seed mats and tape in buckets and the raised beds, they've all done very well. So labour saving. Enjoying the live shows by the way!

I never knew you could buy seeds on a tape! Looks like a less back breaking work try to sow individually.I will have a look and see if we have any where I live.

Can’t see passed these strips. Still reckon you might need to thin a bit but at least the rows are obvious. For some reason when I sow by hand the lines are as straight as me walking home at closing time.
