I was always fascinated by how they lived back then. The candlelight, fireplaces and lanturns, no electricity. I would be in my glory 😂 it would be a interesting kind of bed and breakfast sort of resort type of place where u could stay and experience life in the late 1600's. That place could be an attraction of sorts.

I literally just started watching this series around 2 weeks ago! I hadn't heard of it until like 2 years ago! I love it so far, I'm almost finished the first season. It is right up my alley as far as television series go 😅 the walking dead, penny dreadful, American horror story, vampire diaries and the originals are my all time favorites! Anything in the horror genre, anything that takes place in the 1600's through early 1900's, witch's, vampires, demons, angels, etc. I love that stuff! This is an amazing exploration! I would have loved to see this place. I kept picturing the show as u walked through the set. It's amazing how real it looks on television compared to how it actually looks. The inside of the houses, especially Mary Sibley's house, was beautiful on the show but seeing it now, it doesn't even have an upstairs 😂 except for that small bedroom with the balcony which was her bedroom and where she performed spells, incantations and rituals. She was a real witch, whereas the one's who were executed were not and she knew it!
I love the transitions between your scenes; they keep getting better and better.👍 And you were very brave to jump the fence; I'd be afraid of getting shot by an angry property owner! 😅
The original Salem Massachusetts town site during the 1600s is where in the 19th century they built the old Danvers State Mental Hospital. Now after a huge fire destroyed most of what was left is now the Avalon Danvers apartments.
The Salem witch trials were a sad note in my family's history, 6 family members were tried and convicted, one, John Proctor, was hung for his made up sin.
The series was very fictionalized. The Hanging area was not in the center of Salem. It was at Proctor's Ledge. The Jail is totally incorrect. They main people from Salem were totally written in the wrong way.

Me and my wife watched all three seasons when they came out. I can't believe the set and props were just left to waste away.
This would be a good place for the Shreveport area to have an annual renaissance festival in the fall. It would be really cool.
