I have sold a lot of purses in the past. I thought the liners were fine until I pulled them out to empty crumbs. I learned to shoot pictures of both sides of the lining. I add before and after pictures if possible. Some buyers don't care but others do. You learn to tell all, show all. The price was high for "clearly used, with stains."
yes I do the same when I am listing a purse. I post ALL pictures from every angle I can get and I call out EVERY LITTLE THING that could possibly be perceived as "wrong" with it.
I am overly honest in my life as a whole and it extends to every part including purses. I know as a buyer when I find stuff that wasn't disclosed it is such a bummer especially if you can't get your money back and I dont want someone to feel that way. Normally Im selling bc I am done with the bag but its in excellent condition OR Ive learned the style isnt for me.
Just wait until my video on my longchamp backpack comes out to hear THAT story. :-(
Poshmark and Mercari sellers have been somewhat disappointing lately bc they haven't been forthright with everything in their listings but OH WELL! Life goes on and I learn a lesson! LOL

@CarolenGrayToday Every seller makes mistakes. How they correct their mistake is what's important. The seller should have asked you what would make you happy after fully apologizing for the error. A full refund and a return label at their cost should have been the 1st option.

The leather was beautiful!
I’m a wallet (110 north) convert already! When the right bag at the right time comes along I’ll grab it and try again!

From what I can tell, you had to pull the lining entirely out and there was one stain that would be tucked away n a corner and not visible unless you pull the lining out. Maybe that m missing some stains in the video
Yeah you must be missing it because when you looked inside the bag there was a large stain and the other little stains smattered all around. I pulled the lining out to be able to show you all easier rather than trying to move around shadows of a camera.
As I said in the end with the stains that weren’t shown in the pictures I felt I overpaid and was able to return and get my money back. Had it been disclosed it would have then been my choice to make an offer or buy etc based on having all the info .
So alls well that ends well 😊
Oh man... That's frustrating... She probably totally saw the stains and was hoping you wouldn't notice. Irritating. I've been wondering about Hammitt too, although for some reason, all the review videos mention not great experiences. Not necessarily with the purses, but with the sale process. Dunno why! PS - your Traveler collection is amazing!

The price was nice really can’t see that stain, nobody but you. Unless you plan on selling it.. you bought it 400. Cheaper just about

Also - we all know I’m quite churny in my collection so likely I would be selling it at some point and I wouldn’t be getting my money back because of that stain - and I would disclose it 😜
Not that I would sell it for exactly what I paid if I had used it a couple times but the stains really devalued it FOR ME!

The bag was beautiful overall aside from those interior stains and I didnt know if I could get them out or not - I just in the end really felt I had overpaid for it having those stains. Maybe I didnt but I woud look at them every time I used it and felt like I did.
