If you haven't read "Capital Spy" yet, it's the follow up book (number 2 in the series) and is just as exciting as this one. It is already uploaded on this site.
Yes! A very engaging story. The narrator is so captivating that I really feel the action (like watching a movie) during the fist fights and car chases.
I began listening to book 2 until I saw this first book. I was only about five mins. in so I just switched to this . There is so much going on that I marvel at the authors ability to weave this spiders web without losing focus and thus, the reader is able to follow the thread. It`s like Harlan Cobin meets David Baldacci or Mark Greeney. That is high praise in my mind. The Gray Man books are my speed. And all of the rock and heavy metal references tell me he is also a musician with good taste in music. \m/
Apparently this book should have preceded "Capital Spy." Characters who were dead in that book are still alive and adding to the plotline in this book.
I should have read this one first, instead of the follow up. They can each stand alone, but it would have been helpful for keeping track of the names of the characters.
Someone had a great deal to say.....I'm NY Toms very British/Brazilian future wife MD, Veteran, Middle East & Cont. of Africa....hell is indeed empty....God and Angels are watching...
2:14:05. Not only would no Brit ever spell colour without a “u” they would never use the phrase “Queen of England” for anybody after Queen Anne following the Act of Union of 1707.
Oh its well researched, at least i can testify to the operation security aspects. Also some things he says shows inside knowledge. fantastic stuff. Everyone knows FSB is ex KGB
There is no difference between FSB and KGB (FSB is the ex-KGB). Many people are more familiar with KGB. For reasons: 1. KGB, the name, had been around for long time than FSB. 2. It existed at critical period of mankind’s history (when Nuclear Weapons were expanding to the point mankind’s future existence was being threatened).
Fantastic fast paced story line with excellent narration. Very enjoyable. More like this pls🎉
Not so easy to post books as good as this my friend

Blah blah blah.
I really like this story but I am getting so confused of what's going on and who's who and who's that who and what they're doing
You can slow down the speed

Yes no Brit would say “Queen of England” but as the book is for a wider audience it’s a perfectly acceptable construct.
@@stephenlipton525 not in the context of emphasising her Englishness. In fact she would only qualify “The Queen” if referring to a foreigner.
Terribly sorry old bean but I think it's Chucky on the big chair now. RIP Lizzie. Love to the family
@@simongumn3154 is “Chucky” some sort of patois form of Charles used in the Rebellious Colonies?
Wasn't Chucky an evil, possessed doll in an old horror film?😁

The narrator should take a valium and slow down.
This book would take 20 hours if read at a pace normal people talk
You can always slow it down...

Maybe the comic shop guy from The Simpsons isn't the best voice for the character Kurt.
Haha
Narrator is unlstenable.
Then dont listen
Is it well researched, or just realistically fantasised?
Weird odd "errors" like KGB when should be FSB these days

It’s just a flashlight. Who cares what the brand is…Too American for me.
Only that it is not American, the writer is British 🤣🤣
I care about the brand, attention to detail is what makes the book so visceral.
