I used a no. 5 handplane on my bench top to get it near flat and finished with a circular sander, means I can slide stuff across it without getting snagged. Seriously tempted by that Thicknesser, I have miles of trim to do for cupboard door fronts.
I'm going to sand mine a bit more too. The thicknesser is one of those tools that I wish I would have bought sooner. Thanks for watching.
