Love this video! You are right - the Babyhawk O3 and AVATA together are a great combo for both cinematic FPV and "flippy flop" stuff like you said. And great flying! You are definitely becoming a FPV master!
Thanks buddy. It’s much easier to practice down in Colorado Springs vs the mountains. Less snow and flat areas. Ha ha
after flying DJI, i find it hard to cross over into traditional FPV.....so much more to KNOW and MUST DO or WATCH OUT for...DJI more like set it and forget it......I get so overwhelmed with the batteries, chargers, don't charge too much etc.... eventually will get myself in the game but right now i am good with AVATA :)
That is exactly why I got a babyhawk and the linked charger and batteries below in the description. Flying manual with the Avata is fun, but flying full acro with the baby hawk is ballistic fun.
That Babyhawk loves trees! 😄👌 Such a fun quad to fly! I'm glad you got one!
I’m having an absolute blast with this thing
Howdy Sean, thank you for the excellent comparison between the Babyhawk 03 and Avata. It was fantastic to see the BH03 is able to use the existing controller and goggles from the Avata. Looks like you now have a sweet setup for the future. Take Care!
I’m loving this little guy. Glad you enjoyed the footage Steve.
I have the Avata 2, but now that the 03 Air Unit supports the Goggles 3, I might buy this one to have a freestyle drone! The Avata doesn't really freestyle, it is more of a cruiser!
👍🏻👍🏻
great rippin Sean babyhawk footage looks great beauty place there bud
as good as it seems looks like cost is more than avata acro is not hard for avata luv mine
Thank you. I love I can use my Avata controller and goggles.
@@SeanOzz thats a bonus for sure
I put my baby hawk literally through hell. I actually don’t understand how it still flys. 😂 Tons of great batteries out there but Flywoo’s 900mah lihv are my fave. You put together a great video!!
Thank you
I just went the exact same route, air 3, Avata, babyhawk 03 as my first “real” fpv drone. Looking forward to see what you buy next bc apparently I will buy it too lol.
Either a micro cinewhoop or building a 5” freestyle is where I think I’ll go next.
Emax has a cinewhoop I’ve been eyeballing. Not sure when I will pull the plug though. I’m all about as little gear as possible. lol.
If you’re talking about the cinehawk it does look super nice. I do like the cinelog35 v2 a lot as well. I also would like as little gear as possible… But I say the same thing about my job as a contractor and I have every red tool you can imagine lol
😂
The avata held up really well.
Yeah. A great starting point for sure.
Cool review, looks like the babyhawk carries its own weight in the air a lot better. I'm still on the fence about getting something to upgrade from the Avata because of the extra battery care and not being able to just switch back into normal say someones walking up to you. Really hoping DJI release a little freestyler for their next FPV drone 🤞
Thank you, yeah. That’s the only downside as you don’t have that pause button. And there definitely been times where I wish I did but this thing is so much fun to fly that I highly recommend it.
great drone..👍
I agree
Wow awesome video Sean I just may get the Baby Hawk 3 if I get enough Amazon cards for my birthday Jan 15.
It’s a ton of fun
Really loved your drone controlling skills❤
Thank you
Love you bro
Its like comparing a sports car to a Cadillac. I am probably end up with both.
I sure did!!!
It's a nice frame,
It's a nice frame. I could see making a few combinations of camera and battery setups.
👍🏻 it’s also a blast to Fly.
I couple of shops have told me I need to solder some wires to make it work with the remote controller did you have to do anything like this
No. Not at all.
@@SeanOzz I couldn’t be a pain could I and ask what version you bought, if you have spare time to check that is it would be much appreciated
Version of what?
Does the pnp version already come with the air unit installed?
Yes...just activate it with DJI assistant, bind it to the goggles, bind it to the controller, and you are good to go!
Yes. Exactly what Kelly said. It’s so fun too.
Thank you guys ..just making sure cuz other pnp drones don’t come with a cam
@@SeanOzzHallo. Can you recommend this Emax Babyhawk O3 for beginners in the FPV world? Greatings from Germoney 😀
It doesn’t have normal mode and hover like something like the DI. Fpv does. But it is more durable. If you’re done with the tiny hawk or one of the DGI ones and wanted to get more acrobatic flying. Then yes, definitely.
I have 3 emax and only one works at a time 😢😂
How would you for more than onea time?
