Spearfishing NY: Bluefish, rainbows, night dive

Rainbows, rain, bluefish, and so many striped bass.
The striped bass was powerful, I picked it among many, trying to not spook them with sudden movements. I got it in the gut and it was so powerful, It was pulling the line. On the surface it knocked off the GoPro pipe mount on my speargun. If I did not have secured with a safety dyneema lanyard, I would have lost the camera and the mount. The current always move and it would have been most likely lost, somewhere at the bottom.
I thought I would not get a bluefish any time soon. They are fast, they never stop. They are one of the most voracious predators.
Bluefish are present on both sides of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. In the fall/winter they go to places like Florida and the Black sea off Turkey.
I have not been so accurate this year, some misses, but I managed to get a bluefish at dusk, at the bottom it was pretty dark and the gopro footage looks grainy.
I tracked the bluefish, they changed direction. I was not yet at the bottom, so the angle was not ideal.
I stayed until late, I saw a good size fluke and a large sea robin. They were asleep after dark. I have already more than enough fish to clean, refrigerate, freeze and cook.
The water was clear for this area. But being late at sunset dusk the footage at times is grainy. Shot with GoPro Hero 10 and Hero 11.
