Wow.. great content!! Could you do a follow up tutorial on a more advanced media player? E.g multiple videos on one player, scrub functionality, connecting the player to a menu and choosing a specific video from an array of them on the menu etc, etc. Just something that dives deeper into the media players powers.. Have searched far and wide and have not found any UA-camr that has posted a tutorial of such sorts.. Just a request, if possible! Thank you!⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks for your tutorial on how to add video in UE. I have a bunch of SciFi consoles I'd like to add videos to. So ... pre-existing geometry. The results vary. Sometimes on a cube it will play my video on all sides. On walls, sometimes it will be on the opposite wall side. Sometimes I'm just getting a black screen. What is the criteria to add a video?
If you are anything like me when I got to the end I found I must have missed any step that created the media texture. However I found right click on video and select create material worked. Still not got it running probably because I used my own names, will try again. Did you know if you spell the Play event name incorrectly it appears on the button! Another mystery solved 😂😂😂It looks good so far. Thanks for the fast moving tutorial, great job. 👏👏👏
Hey, I have the player working and will play and pause during game simulation, but can't play it simulating in VR, it just stays paused and never starts. How do you auto play/fix this?
This is hands down the best tutorial on the Media Player in Unreal on UA-cam. This is even better than the offical Unreal Engine 5 documentation. Thank you. This really helped a lot. I'm now trying add Playlist functionality to the Blueprint's and really struggling. Dont know if you could point me in the right direction, or you plan on doing a video on this topic?
Seem you dont care about your channel anymore. I guest because it take hard work to make video like this. But there are not so many view. But anyway, l learn few useful thing while watching your video. Even though sometimes i feel bore when watching it. I hope you will someday try to change your video style so many people will watch it. Not too much UA-camr make these kind of video. And it very hard.
